On the highway, if there’s a ton of traffic, don’t weave it, a lot of people for some reason when you pass them go from being grandma drivers pickin their grand kids from church to Bonneville top speed runners and close any gaps, next thing ya know the next car in the cruise is damn near 30-40 cars back.

*Don't bring a female that hates cars, hates your car, or doesn't know how long we sit out there and chat.

Here's one... If you are in the middle of a cruise do not go rogue. You have other people following you, some of them are new and are just looking at your car to follow. If you break from the group unannounced because you think "you know a better way" is not good. Follow your lead

We use hand signals when we turn left on our cruises and we’ve had 20 people once one person sees it the rest start signaling until it reaches the last person so it’s just a common sense and caution

Use a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water to wipe dried bugs away. Spray on splatted bugs wait one min wipe away. Safe on all services leaves no residue works like a charm and is super cheap.

i literally just went on a cruise yesterday, but instead of taking my car i rode along so i could get rolling shots for everybody. It was an absolute blast because even on the highway, everybody followed orders on the way to the dyno meet and paid attention both to the road and where i asked them to hover around the camera car for the best shots!

Don’t be that one guy that shows up to the import only cruise in a brand new, straight piped Mustang GT. Don’t be that one guy that shows up to the euro cars only cruise in a Hellcat. I own an FD RX-7 and a Porsche 944. Both of these happened at cruises I went to. If it’s an American muscle only cruise, don’t show up in an FD, if it’s a euro or import only cruise, don’t show up in a mustang. Stick to your community, don’t be *that guy*.

In today's day and age, most cruises are open to all cars. I driven my heavy ass Audi A5 along to a cruise with Miatas. I'm not sure why bringing a mustang to a JDM meet would be a problem unless the host specifically tells you otherwise. As long as you're respectful, most dont mind non JDM cars to tag along

Correction: If you have a brand spanking new shiny whip in a cruise The PRECISE thing you WANT to do is show it to everyone, beat every other car in a street light drag and get some in the back seat. But what you SHOULD do is literally not any of the above keep it low profile and smile back when someone notices.

My biggest tip is to know the route especially if you aren't near the front of the pack

Updated tip. Use turn signals and look before switching lanes on highway. Don’t want to switch lanes into someone doing a full send

I think I’m cursed, every time I go on a cruise with other people I ALWAYS get red lights, like the people in front of me are all fine but I get the red light, so when it turns green I try to catch up, guess what, there’s another red light around the corner, I think you get the idea hahaha

Have never been on a cruise, but have experience with the concept. I go out to drive quite a bit. Usually early in the morning, as to have the roads to myself. In the recent years, came across two cruises: a whole bunch of newer Challengers and what seemed to be a Corvette club. There were a lot of cars; took forever to wait for a dotteded line and pass the entire procession.

If you can two step while rolling, you get the most cool points

Also if you have a big number of vehicles you can check ahead of time with good advance and get an actual escort through some municipal areas where the coos will help with intersections and everyone involved has their flashers on so that people know where the first and last cars are.

Shit I just turn my music on and get lost never needed anyone to make me happy happiness is within. If you don't have a cruise worthy ride one simple answer. Stereo system a bumpin ass stereo in a saturn ion with suicide doors is the pure definition of uncool uncruisworthy car but I got a 1000 watt slab amp and 12s in the back and all of a sudden people come talk to me. I go out to the dam in my city to practice car control with drifting and burnouts. Etc. It has a very large lot that would be extremely hard to mess up in, which is why I see it as such a great spot. I also go out there right after it rains, so nobody else is out there and it doesn't hurt my tires as much.

I never heard of this but now I want to do it.

We split up in groups of 5. Each group has a "leader" These are the guys with the walkie talkies. Makes managing large groups a hell of a whole lot easier. Especialy when dealing with red lights.

Earlier this year I had a friend crash on a car cruise. We had probably 100 cars, some absolutely flying, some people nust cruising, and then others racing. But he was one of the first people to leave and he was just cruising but when we came to the offramp and there was a lot of traffic we had to obviously slow down. But someone in a white BMW decided they wanted to try and take the exit going double the speed limit and caused the 3 cars in front of my friend to slam on the brakes and since he was the one in the very back he got screwed the most. He served off the road to avoid rear ending the guy in front of him and ended up barely bumping the guy's rear bumper in front of him. BMW left but my friends fender got super messed up. We spent around 45 minutes working on getting him out because a slammed car and a highway ditch is not a good combo. Luckily I have several friends there willing to help us if we needed anything. This was back in March I believe.

Huge question. What would you suggest if you show up to one and put your car in the corner because its a normal car. Is it acceptable to ride with someone?
