Re-writing your notes into summaries with added information from your textbook makes you engage with the content of your class for a second time, which counts as revision. You are also familiar with your own style of notetaking, as other people can use abbreviations etc you do not know. Making your own summaries and notes also ensures you have everything you wanna have in the document, so you're sure there's nothing missing. In this way, you are not doing it for "your satisfaction" as you call it, but as active revision. Also, your analogy doesn't make sense. You already have the showroom car (your class notes), and you're just choosing customisations to fit your wants and needs (added textbook notes and formatting everything clearly).
That was very helpful for me and very fun actually thx
Hello, the concept that taking notes is not good especially in medical college just blew my mind. Often I can understand a concept but can’t frame it properly in exam so I make structured notes to help ease that formation process. So is it better to invest time on processing information just by simply reading once and stop writing notes? What are your strategies for heavy influx of information?
Such a great informative video 👌. Subscribed your channel.
