Pools over here don’t even allow fins. Makes me wanna cry because I can never use my tail 😭👍🏻

I've been wondering about different monofins in the finfolk fabrics! (I don't have one though) And that pool is AMAZING! I'd be forever sitting on those rocks!

I remember watching mermaid Zelda's video and WONDERING WHERE YOURS WAS HAHA! This was womderful.

I too am a mermaid who is blind without glasses and I’d love to know how you keep your glasses from falling off in the water

hers are probably just on the tighter side, but you can attach a strap made for swimming with glasses! they have them on amazon and in eyeglass stores

I got my first fabric and silicone tail because of you

This was very helpful, I wish there was a video doing the same for the sea nymph fluke though. My foil is wayyy too loose in the fluke and it makes me anxious swimming in it

Really like this video! I am looking for a new monofin for my new finfolk fabric and this really helps! A friend of my uses the Hydra monofin in her tail. I did swim in it once and it wasn't a bad experience. It was swimming pretty good and it was better than my experience with the mahina monofin in my current finfolk fabric tail. The only problem I had with is is that is quite long. For short mermaid/merman wouldn't that be a problem I think but for long mermaid/merman it will make the tail fit low on the hips. A shorther monofin will gif you some more lenght on top of the tail becaus you can push the monofin a little more down in to the fluke. Hope that all of this makes sense 😅

Hello ! I'm very happy to see this video 😭 I just received my first finfolk tail as a present but with a finis wave monofin (I think is the new name of finis tempo ?) How you modified your finis tempo ? There is a video ?

nice video en it's a very good video of which monofin fits in the finfolk tails. defenly gona use this advise. And i use the hydra kat monofin in my finfolk andromeda between the vinyl casing. It swims amazing and it's still my favorite monofin to use in the finfolk tails except for the tails with the lotus fluke.

Awsome. I used binge watch your videos before getting my first tail and monofin. I would have never thought of putting a silicone fin in the finfolk, but now that you did I was wondering if it would work without the vinyl. Just because I float a lot and heard that the silicone ones don't. Can anyone answer this?

Well the whole idea of a finfolk is a monofin and vinyl. Why not check out mertailor if you are looking for silicone fins.

You could do it but these tails already have so much drag, putting a silicone fin and taking out the vinyl will make it even worse. These tails will also float more anyways bc neoprene is “floaty”. Instead of a silicone fin I’d suggest getting a weight belt. Obviously do your research, be careful and don’t drown but you can find scuba weight belts and decorate them to match your mermaid aesthetic without sacrificing the beauty and performance of the tail🙂

I have exactly the same finfolk fabric tail and I use the mermaid Kat Hydra monofin with the vinyl casing. Works absolutely fine. And it is not impossible to insert the monofin imo :) though I don't use the srews.

E6000 is what I use. I make jewelry and shell tops. It's multi surface, waterproof, and super tough.

I wonder if you made another screw hole to hold in some of the other fins, or your prefered fin

does anyone know if the finfun elite monofin would fit in a finfolk tail?

I’d like if the finfun works bicouse i have one. You should try finis mermaid and aquarius. I have a Aquatail tail also that have simular monofin like finis mermaid.

I use the hydra for my silicone tail but I have not tried it in a fabric tail. I think it's a little floppy for my liking. I am trying to fine one that is a similar shape but strong.

I have the same finfolk in the video and I use it with the linden. And I personally would definitely recommend to be a strong swimmer with the monofin first. And when you finally use the finfolk, I would like to have some around and the first few times take it easy, stay close things you can grab onto early and be careful not to get too tired, getting out of the tail still can require some energy 😅

What monofin do you recommend

So last summer I took my finfolk to the beach, I forgot to rinse it off for a day or two but did soon after. Then I wrapped it in a towel and it sat in storage for a while. When I took it out again the coloring on the base of the fluke was spotty, like grainy spotty. It could be that I waited too long to rinse it but I don’t think that’s the case because it would have been spotty then but it wasn’t. Idk why it’s doing this and I can’t find anything else online who has had this happen. Anyone know anything?? I can’t believe it but I forgot the name of the design I got, it started with an A, it’s the white and blue patterned one from the 2nd gen.

Hello there! I have a little problem if anyone would be willing to help. I have bought a Finfolk tail from a friend and she accidentaly threw away the transparent fluke, she thought it was just ''trash''... 4 years later she sold me the tail and now I am without it and swimming doesn't look that great without it. Any tips or advices what to do, like I can buy some material and make my own or is there a way to order and buy? I come from a very small country so shipping costs are high and you wait forever... Hello How are you? I have a rainbow tail and there are a few Others that I would like I might ask for them for my birthday, but yeah, there really pretty too, and I dont get to use my tail because I don't have an ingraved pool, and it's not hot enough to blow the pool up yet, but when I can, I will definitely use it when I can because when I go swimming, I swim as a mermaid without the tail because I I was just born to like I'm one of the chosen ones. But yeah, I dont use it enough, and I really want to use it more, so hopefully, I will be able to do the future

definitely not, unless you get one from a scamming site and they give you an extremely low quality tail that tears easily and such

So the monofin goes inside a piece of plastic for these fancier tails. These are the ones I really like the look of. But I'll make sure I like swimming in a tails before I invest in one of these.

FinFolk, stopped using the plastic screws to hold the monofins in place when they started making all the tails in house and switched to Velcro. They were used in tails leading up to the summer 2020 release.
