When my brother and I were little we would spend the summers with my grandparents. They were some of the most influential people in my life. To this day I still remember sitting with my grandmother as she taught me the Lords prayer. As a result of our closeness my childrenalso saw them as wonderful figures and model many life lessons that they saw growing up. I do believe God will bless your grandchildren you and that he is doing a good work and your daughter. I continue to pray for you

Please pray for my 41-year old daughter, Joy, who is waiting for bloodwork to come back to show if she has lupus. I pray she doesn’t. Thank you, Max Lucado for your always encouraging words! You are blessed!

I am an older adult Christian woman age 70. This last week, I scheduled the Gadabout bus, that helps seniors get where they need to go, to go to the grocery store. I woke up that morning with terrible anxiety and feeling hyper...I have a history of anxiety. More so during COVID19. Everything was going wrong...just little things but with all that I had to "do over" my anxiety got worse. The bus came on time and dropped me at the store....then the driver said that they were short on drivers and they didn't they know when they would be able to pick me up for my ride home. WHAT! I decided to deal with the ride home issue later and proceeded to shop for my groceries. I finished and sat down to call the Gadabout to see if they had figured out my ride home yet. NO! ANXIETY was overwhelming me. My heart and mind started to race. What to do?: Sit and wait for several hours with melting groceries? Take the public transportation bus with 3 bags of groceries in tow? Call my friend, who I was planning to have lunch with, to see if she could come early and help me with a ride? Take a dirty taxi during COVID19? My mind raced! Then, I heard the Holy Spirit whisper... "You could give it to God and pray." I closed my eyes and prayed, as I sat on the bench outside the grocery store. "Lord, I give my ride home to you to... for your provision. I need your peace" At the end of my prayer sentence, I heard a voice say..."Hi, how are you doing?" It was a friend of mine who had just finished her shopping! She was happy to give me a ride home !!!! Thankfully, God does care about all the small needs in our lives. Praise!

That is a beautiful story, I C. Thank you for sharing it with us. Many years ago I was walking on the streets of our little town, deeply concerned over my financial situation. A car pulled to the curb and a man reached $250 out the window to me. He said that God told him to give it to me. I was acquainted with the man but he knew nothing of my predicament. It still brings tears to my eyes all these years later. God is good!

That was a good story with a good ending . I ask the Holy Spirit to help me with my memory at 72 ! He helps all the time find things by making me retract all the places I was and I end up with it !

Don’t wait and don’t be afraid to go out and share your love and gift of prayer to others in need. Your heart must long for Him so maybe doing His work now will heal your loneliness. I’m so sad to read that you are sad. Loneliness is terribly painful. Just Don’t wait, find some one that needs to hear that God loves them and that THEY are not alone.

When I read the prayer requests I get so overwhelmed and my prayers seem so feeble. I'm so thankful that they all matter to God and nothing overwhelms him. He is strength and power and wisdom and love.

I need prayers -- I am a teacher. I am so very angry with our school district's leadership's lack of integrity (not telling the truth), treating everyone "below" him so terribly. If you question him then seem to become a target of some type of retaliation possibly even losing your job. There other issues to many to name at this time but problem for me is this person has caused me to become that no one wants to be around. Even my wife and daughters do n't like who I have become. I feel so lonely in this world right now. I guess I need to let him continue his ways and I need to stop fighting with him. So please pray for my situation. Thank you

I pray about everything, big and small, and when I get an answer (esp a yes) I'm always so grateful and amazed--big or small. To God, no request is big or small, only WE put that label on them. To me, every answered prayer is a miracle. 12/14/21.

I love you Max thank you for reminding my great and wonderful God cares for my frustrations and aggravations and minor heartaches and desires . You are a kind gentle wise wordsmith .

My husband is on renal dialysis and must have hernia repair surgery lower groin. May the Lord’s direction during this. Lord take control and guide the physicians and healing from procedure as to not interfere with his peritoneal dialysis he must do every night. Also, prayers of protection as we must be in doctor’s offices and hospital during COVID.

I deleted my prayer request after reading some of the others. God knows my need and I have prayed about it. After reading others prayer requests I want everyone's attention to be turned to them as mine is small. God bless you Max. And thank God for his blessings.

Please pray for my healing. In the past 2 years I have had a stroke which futzed up my balance, then broke my leg which required 3 months bedrest, now and have symptoms of a neurological problem causing muscle weakness. I can’t walk. I’m helplesss and can do very little on my own. I have a sweet helpful husband who cares for me, but I hate being dependent on him and confined to bed or a wheelchair. I know God is in control and he allowed this in my life for a reason. I’m so tired of being weary and sad... how can this ever be good? I pray daily for guidance and peace and strength and healing. Some days I get really low and in a ditch emotionally/ mentally.

Don't look for assurance in yourself. Find it in Him. He will hold you close if you let him. Rest in His love.

I think the goo is a beautiful example of answered prayer. I love that God cares about all our troubles big or small. I'm dealing with a struggle that is nothing compared to other troubles. But its drowning me. I'm really praying for my "goo" to come soon. 🐞

I pray for financial breakthrough.

Please pray for my son, Todd, to get home safe to Washington. Please pray for my son, Alex, who lives in fear and anxiety. He needs Jesus more than ever. He has mental health issues and gets angry easy. Thank you for your prayers. IJNIP Amen!

I pray this for my son as well as yours say after me: Lord, I pray that my son will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not an earthly one. Help him to see life-and every challenge-through Your eyes, eager and unafraid to share with others the good news of Jesus wherever he goes. I pray that they will set his minds on things above, not just what’s going on here, and that he will be rooted and grounded in Your love. I pray that he will come to understand the extent of Your own love for him-that it surpasses all the head knowledge they will acquire in life. I can’t tell you how this helped me! I’ve been sad bc a preacher recently said that God doesn’t care about our small concerns. He said that not all things happen for a reason that a lot of our life and what happens is basically random chance. He seemed to say only big stuff were God’s concern. My heart rejected what he said but apparently it’s been lurking around in my chest enough to make me waiver in my understanding. This is twice this month that you have spoken right to my concern about Jesus and Little Things in your videos. Thank you.

Oh Pastor Lucado :)) can I relate! I suffer from IBS-D. If you have this ailment of the bowels you know what a challenge it can be! And it never fails, my attacks always happen when I’m out shopping or going to the mailbox a 1/4 mi. away, or right when I NEED to give all my attention to dinner. Oh yes, the Lord does indeed hear some begging and pleading. But He never lets me down! My beloved Savior is like Superman swooping in to save me... again. He cares, He cares so much, so deeply, so lovingly, so tenderly.

I’m on WhatsApp. That down day I had passed away as soon as I opened my Bible for the day. I’m 82 and hubby and I have been missionaries since 1961 and we haven’t quit yet. It’s just hard not being able to share Jesus with unsaved neighbors when we can’t leave the house. But we can pray for them.
