Links to Amazon and Newegg are typically monetized on our channel (affiliate links) and may return a commission of sales to us from the retailer. This is unrelated to the product manufacturer. Any advertisements or sponsorships are disclosed within the video ("this video is brought to you by") and above the fold in the description. We do not ever produce paid content or "sponsored content" (meaning that the content is our idea and is not funded externally aside from whatever ad placement is in the beginning) and we do not ever charge manufacturers for coverage.

This 80's hairband rockstar knows his sh!t! Keep up the amazing work.
The cheapest 1080 in my country is 50 euros cheaper than the cheapest 1070ti. The best 1070ti is 4 euros more expensive than a MSI 1080 Gaming X. This makes no sense.
Wonder what manufacturers think of the TITAN X Collectors Edition
This is effectively a 95% exclusive Founder's Edition. Let me quote Linus Torvalds: "Nvidia - fuck you!"
Might be underrated on your channel, but i really do appreciate the 4k60fps options for youtube. Makes content so much more enjoyable to watch. Great work Steve
Great video Gamers Nexus! you hit the nail on the head with this video! 10/10 As time goes on i am LESS concerned about in depth reviews about new products and more concerned about how Steve gets such Bounce, Lift and Fullness with his hair. Sure the reviews are good and Steve himself gives a great objective analysis of things like that 1070 TI review which we were all hungry for. But isn't his Steve's hair basically the 1080 TI youtubes Tech Reviewers Hair?...
I was thinking the opposite, rather than trying to add stuff to the 1070 Ti and find workarounds with the overclocking, why not make the cheapest possible one that has great value out of the box and just doesn't OC well.
Thank you for sharing your content. You are an awesome person.
Steve, there is some static noise at
Based on my experience identifying the bug and pushing Nvidia to produce the 1070 Bios update to resolve the micron memory issues. Nvidia produce the core bios version in a range of clock speeds and provide the AIB partners a choice of core bios versions in a range of fixed OC frequencies. The Partners add the branding, the PCIe Device identifiers and extra fluff like the EVGA support for the auto scan OC utiltiy themselves. The Partners are not programming the Bios to set the frequency. If you compare different brands, they all sell a selection of cards that cover the same range of core clock frequencies. The base version is 1506 and they also have a selection of 1582, 1595, 1607, 1633 and 1671Mhz plus one or two other frequency options.
In terms of Future Proofing, would the 1080 with the GDDR5X memory potentially outlive the 1070Ti? And if so, by how long?
Just make a 1060ti now. Make everyone mad.
This is real journalism - thank you!
Company releases product to compete with competitor's product.
Was Linus correct when he said that AIB partners aren't allowed to bin the 1070 Tis either? I haven't heard that anywhere but on LTT...
Are you shooting in Full HD and upscaling to 4K? Or is this native 4K recording you uploaded? Also what bitrate? Because I think the visuals are not as crisp as I thought it would be from a 4K
@Gamers Nexus I have a question, does GDDR5X do anything for the 1080?? I'm sadly shocked that it seems like the 1080s G5X seems to give no contribution to extra performance vs the 1070 Ti's regular GDDR5. Unless i'm missing something.
It did bump the price for Vega 56 down at least in the short run. It are now a couple card out there for MSRP ($399).
@Gamers Nexus long time follower first time comment, are board partners aloud to have a program to auto over clock and advertise that as a oc card?
