Asali haqikat ye he ki Manna De ye gaana gaane ko taiyar nahi the. Kyki we mante the ki Kishor Kumar jaise stage singer ke saamne harna unhe katai manzur nahi tha. Par Mehmood ke kahne par Manna De gaane ko taiyar hue.

If you want to know who Manna Dey really was, what kind of beast he was, please listen to his Bengali songs. As you can't judge Sonu Nigam for his bengali songs thus you can't judge Manna Dey with his hindi songs. His hindi pronounciation was not so good. That's why you think Manna Dey is just an ordinary singer. He was a beast.
