i got a 2006 accord with the J30 as my first car, i am absolutely in love with it its just perfect and especially as a person who doesn’t want to go all in on the tuning and mods the stock V6 power with some exhaust mods are more than enough to satisfy a 19 year old kid like me

I agree
I just bought a 2006 accord v6 manual with 250,000 miles for 2 grand. It is fast and lovely! I also have a 2007 accord automatic 4 banger and it is faster than my 2018 Ford Focus (which was pimped out when I got it)-the Hondas are amazing. I love my v6 manual and your videos are great!!
I love this car. Fast ASF. The front lifts when you step on the gas. And just takes offs. Great motor

The 6 cylinders for sure but Suprisingly even the 4 cylinders have some kick to them
I owned a k24 5speed manual and loved it, sold it to a buddy for a 2007 v6 6speed SEDAN from an elderly lady one owner who dropped all of the maintenance records from dealership with it. I added full exhaust system, intake, short shifter, check valve deletes, coils etc and even bit into a pedal commander that opened up the throttle for sure. Next might be the ported j35 manifold and T.B. to complete it. I love my daily family sedan that makes mustang GTs sad at the track lol.
these are so beautiful with simple mods (wheels and lowered). i think it’s gunna be my next car. had an 8th gen coupe and absolutely loved it
I'm 58yrs old and a modified 7th gen k24 sedan is my DD. This car was a soft, slow, wallowing mess in stock form when I bought it 5yrs ago. Some suspension mods, chassis braces, and lightweight alloys have transformed this car into one that I look forward to driving everyday.
I love your deep dives. I’d rather you made one of these every two weeks than a new “x cars under x dollars” every day
The edits are getting better! Looks like you're putting even more effort into the videos. Thank you for the great content
I still have my 05 4banger auto since day one new...just turned 100k miles. No issues at all. Dropped it on adjustable coil overs 4" and run 235/35r19 (same dia. for correct speedometer) off a kia cadenza...fitment is phenomenal and hangs corners way better than expected. They are capable of 400-500hp with stock internals (more will need forged) then you can really juice it....mine is stock with just a little 150 wet shot and small tune to compensate a/f mixture to help it along to 300whp..no bolt ons yet, but coming soon....my 2012 pilot will be next to mod but it only has 50k miles so going to wait abit on that one lol
I love my 7th gen v6 accord thanks man love the vids keep up the good work
Really liked this video man. I just bought a 2004 K24 with a manual and it was nice to hear some of your commentary on the generations and models. Nice work!
I have a 6-6 and i absloutly love it. its only got 110k miles and is in great condition, it is definitely a fun daily driver.
I was gonna say the 7th Gen ugly but damn these builds shown in the video aren’t bad

The accord’s looks really improves when you lower them + great fitment
The 6th coupés are my favorite accords love the wideness
Mine is an 07' k24. The power it makes from zero is very subtle but i'm always way ahead of everyone else without even trying.
I have a sedan 6-6 in black. It's a nice little daily driver. One of the best choices I made.
Still have my 2006 6-6 coupe, and it still runs pretty much as good as the day I bought it new off the lot.
MY FIRST CAR was a 2004 Accord, and people in the car community were always poking fun. That thing never gave me an issue and was a perfect fun car for somebody who was still in high school at the time. I straight piped it, and it actually sounded stupid but in a way that still puts a smile on your face. I want another one, albeit the Acura variant, when I can. I plan on it being my next car if all goes well. V6 hopefully
I love my 03 coupe, i'm planning to supercharge it soon so that will be even more fun
10+ years using my honda Accord 7th gen, still wonderful car to drive.
My first car was an 03 k24, it put up to a ton of abuse. Still my favorite car. One other thing that’s worth mentioning is the suspension, it comes with double wishbone front and rear. Lowered on coilovers with some wheels and tires and you got yourself a phenomenal handling car. Currently putting a turbo on mine to make some real power.
Spot on. I’m 40. Not trying to go crazy in the car scene. But just want a clean Daily. Slight lower. Rims from 2007 and an inspire front. Just always working on maintenance and possibly paint.
6-6💪🏾 keeping mine
Now let’s get the slept on 7th gen civic!!!!
I love the 5th and 7th gen accords ❤
when i worked the rails back in the days i noticed the V6 emblem was red. At first i was like why is it red, then i noticed they had manual transmissions.
bro im saving up for my first car and you making me lean toward the accord more (i already was lol)
Nice vid , unfortunately i couldn't find a manual so had to settle for the auto but i love the V6 coupe , J35 is such a good engine
i have a 05 accord with 230k on the dash i abuse it daily and it just wont die on me! great first car
just FYI, i dont believe the hybrid was ever offered with the coupe, just the sedan. can confirm though, great car. I get ~33 mpg hwy and it drives wonderfully.
I just picked up a 07 Accord 4D with a K24 today!!! I'm so excited. I'm currently stripping the interior to deep clean it . Tomorrow night is engine bay.
If you deep dive on KZread as a 7th Gen coupe k24 5spd M/T owner I've discovered that even the v6 is starting to get some love in the aftermarket. I'm in the market to engine swap to a j35 with a 6spd AWD from the 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD.
I'm 29 years old and I just buying my 05 accord... I've always been a nissan boy especially 90s but prices have gotten outrages for anything 90s jdm so I'm just happy to start a new project with my honda.. it's just cosmetic stuff it needs
Great video! I own one so I’m inclined to agree 😂
I just got a 2004 Accord. 5 speed manual with the k24. I'm super excited to clean it up and get some bolt ons for it!

"Searching for the next guardrail to understeer into" 😂
Had one for a few months, burned oil really bad, had 235k needed new oil pump and new vtec solenoid but still ran and drove
only con about my 07 k24 is it isntl manual but the car itself is great! LOVE IT!!
Love my 07' k24 188k miles drives great going to put some underdrive pullies on it.
I want one, I have a Crv 2008 k24 but the second car is gonna be this baby 🎉
cars that the 3.0l accord can easily hang with on a twisty bumpy backroad: 2016 mustang Gt, 1st gen boxter, e46 m3, FBO 2.5 swapped NC Miata, gt86/frs. The engine has just enough torque and the suspension is extremely capable of handling all sorts of road surfaces. Making for a worry free driving experience and overall able to carry more speed through corners where other cars are too unstable. Only corners it struggles in are tight uphill ones, FWD + Open diff things. But for a cheap 20 year old grocery getter it is unreal the kind of pace you can lay down.
Thank you.
100% - The K24 is hands down the most reliable engine, EVER!
i bought an 8th gen accord v6 coupe and i love it

I love the part he mentioned is your car your money paying taxes but it still illegal.😅
i dont know if im trippin or did you change your editing style but it looks nice if you did
i can't say more than agree
I just bought a really nice 04 4door 5spd with 104k. It's a great car and I'm sure it'll last me a long time
4:35 that grey accord is not the j30, thats a turbo k24a2. Aka my dream build.
What wheels are those in the blue accord? They look so good with the blue
Honda is beautiful
If you manage to find a hybrid variant of the 7th gen accord they put out 255 hp which I believe is the fastest out of the various trims. I have a 2005 Accord Hybrid and the boost you get from the electric motor is very nice.
Bro can u make more videos of the integra but maybe u sold it cuz I used to watch along time ago and I came back can u make a vid about integra
do a vid like this on the 8th gen accords
I own a 7th generation Honda Accord it's a good car.
This was cool. I found 1 Unicorn. Can I find another? Coupe this time.
My wife just got an 07 Accord fully loaded with only 80,000 on the dash. It was her mom's car that got handed down to her.
can u do this with the 7th gen civic
I got 06 with the K24A8 with 5spd Auto. Bone stock but with Ruston the rockers :/
2007 coupe ex-l V6 owner here. For the 5k i payed for it back in 2016, this thing has been an absolute pleasure so far. Only downside is i copped an auto, drove a stick for 7 years before that and i was so sick of driving it in Atlanta traffic i decided to get an auto for my next car. Wish i could go back in time and slap the shit out of my self. Great car tho, it is alot faster than people think, looks good, sounds good, great sound system. The car does sway aloooot though. As far as longevity ive had zero major issues other than tire swaps and shit like that. Great car. EDIT: Also there is an aux input button yet has no actual aux port which is super fucking weird :|
Would love to see a deep dive on a g37 or a 370z

ps when i get my accord im gonna send you a photo and blame you for my purchase lol im def getting this car lol
Sold mines after I've replaced the motor twice since I beat on it. The only cons I have was the lower balljoints. They always fail on me.
Best mods for v6 version?
You can also put a 3.7 L manifold on the v6 and ad like 16

My next car will probably be an 8th/9th gen accord coupe V6 if I can find one. Speaking of cars I love, can I get an estimate on that Solara gbu please🙏 Everyone like this comment to vote for a video on the Camry coupe/convertible.
So I’m looking to upgrade the driving of my 7th gen accord. I’ve been looking for lower and upper control arms for this gen. Not finding much. Are there any brands anyone recommends or and interchangeable years?
Only thing that’s wrong in this video is him praising the k24 and saying the accord comes with it, which isn’t false , it comes with a k24a7 which is an economy, intake vtech only motor, not the desired k24a2 with exhaust side vtech. Other wise good video

I just got a 2007 accord with 110,000 miles from my grandpa and looking to see what I can do with it. Open to recommendations
Who’s car is the blue accord at 3:34
That’s sad you haven’t mentioned European 7 gen accord or Acura tsx first gen in this video, however the video was interesting anyway
I need the entire specs on the wheels.
i have a 2.4L 4cyl k24a8 should i swap it to a j30 with a manual trans? or should i keep the 4cyl auto?

I have a 2003 accord with only 50 thousand miles. I want to do some cosmetic work on it first. Any recommendations people?
i have a 2003 accord v6 couple with the automatic trasmission i adore that car and driving it eveyrday, but the seats are kinda shredded from when i got it, and i havent found and good options to replace them, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions i was also wondering a good community for talking about performance mods i can do, i wanna get a short ram and the tsudo catback, and i would like somewhere to talk about this does anyone know any communities? edit: (i also recently broke 300k miles 🔥)
I like the 9th gen Accord most

I bought mine for $1400 04 accord 5speed k24 needs paint but only has 160k miles on it

Unfortunately the J30 had a locked ECU

Swap it out for a TL ECU and you’re good to go
Accords are easier to find clean, there are more of them, and better maintained.

This gen isn’t really all that great performance wise, they are awsome sedans and daily drivers but they are very heavy and prone to oversteer performance wise. I owned one v6 tuned motor thats it no suspension. Sold it though and i raced a kid on a 7th gen k24 motor on my mini cooper, left his ass and he ended up crashing on a curve. The coupe is good though
