I’m glad Astalos is back but I’m still sad to see no Gammoth. She’s one of my favorite monsters and everybody but her in the big four has been in the new line of games. Please Capcom, bring our baby to us.

I'm imagining a 3 way airborne turf war between Astalos, Rathalos and Seregios. Sharp scales along with fire and electricity lighting up the sky.

We actually got a quest to hunt all three of them. Although you’re actually hunting Silver Rathalos.

Correction, Astalos was one of the flagship monsters for Monster Hunter Generations. That cake before Generations Ultimate.

I loved all the faded 4. There deviants was so fun, hope my girl gammoth be s surprise add in. Love her armor. Asto about to slap some hunters XD

@@edwarddanza5468 true unless they gave her more area of effect damage or aoe attacks. She could be sped up also like frost gammoth whom is fast enough to hit hunters out the air and around her.

Its not a coincidence they added Astalos. Why? Because he is known as the *knight* of the Fated Four.

Rise has been my first MH game so it'll be fun to fight Astalos and Seregios. Its like "oh hello. I heard nice things about you". I play mostly with Bow so I'm curious about that stamina recovery and chain crit. That sounds lovely.

Astalos is my favorite out of the fated 4, hell it's one of my favorite flying wyvern in general beside espinas. And its deviant is still one of the hardest and most interesting fight imo

OK, you earned my subscription with this video. I watched your video about crab and liked it as well. This is pretty good as well. I am SnS main. Do you think his SnS is better than Zinogres? It looks sick, a nice Rapier. Also, that skill you mentioned, Crit chain, is it useful for SnS? It's a fast weapon as well, especially with with whirlwind and all.

Take this info as a grain of salt lol data is based on MHGU Zinogre SnS: 270 raw + 32 thunder Astalos Sns: 250 raw + 33 thunder + 20% affinity I'd probably go with Astalos between the two since its flexible with different sets. Just try what works best for you. Both weapon stats are not maxed out yet. I think chain crit should work fine with SnS.

@@Maki-GS Yeah, cool. I like Astalos stuff already. I like to play with variety, so I will put it to work. Chain crit is a very intriguing perk indeed. Add to the mix possible Chaos oil people noticed in the gameplay, SnS may be a beast again. EXCITED.

Yeah, that's probably Chaos oil or some sort of SnS combo but I'd prefer the Chaos oil haha!

Their going to put my 2nd favorite monster in sunbreak i just hope gore magala is going to be in the game.

I really want seregios, I think it uses the same animation rig as astalos, so fingers crossed.

regarding the weapons, from my experience they have lower raw compared to the other Fated Four, for LS it was 290 raw compared to 310-320 for the others, but it has higher sharpness; reaching purple without Handicraft, they also have higher affinity than the other 3 Fated Four weapons so high Affinity, good Sharpness in exchange for lower Raw damage, I'd say it's a decent trade off considering how good Narga weapons were regardless of their lower raw

He's one of the Fated 4, he is another thunder monster, he can go toe to toe with Rathalos, and he is very fast!

I think realistically we'll see Repeat Offender as their rampage skill, but I hope we'll see something zany like draw attacks every 60 seconds act as a flash bang, or hitting monsters builds up a charge which gets released as a lightning spear on your next draw attack. Like punishing draw and r.o. respectively but a little flashier each

That wpuld be cool but we are talking about rise dev team who couldn't even give us apex (recycled deviant) armor and gave us stickers and titles for 6 months of underwhelming event quests...

maybe they could add Repeat Offender but instead of Affinity, they could have the armour skill increase attack and/or element then the weapons could have the Affinity boosting one and it'd give you reason to use his armour!

so Apex Zinogre is the Thunderlord Zinogre Deviant?

When playing generation I wasn't very paying attention to skills (compared to Mh4U for some reason) but the armor sure looks amazing

Boltreaver and soulseer kinda were their subspecies. But they weren’t at the same time. Both were technically just them but stronger amongst their current species

Astalos returns, my favorite out of the Fated Four. Now if only Gammoth could get some love. What I really want the most is the return of Neopterons and Carapaceons however. Seltas', Ceanataur and Hermitaur and heck Ahtal-Ka.

Im just now realizing that we also get boltreaver back this makes me 100% more sad we don't have apex/deviant armor weapons

In the latest elder trio event quest, chameleos had an upgrade. I just hope he is more threatening in sunbreak though, or maybe add his frontier poison mist that's op asf.

@@salvatore1915 oh no. You probably misunderstood me, i don't mean in terms of damage or difficulty. I meant they nerfed his tongue attacks. Rather then it stealing your items in your bag, it just steals spirit bird buffs which you can just easily farm more off in the map. I don't want any monster returning to be nerfed like Chameleos. Cause my god that was sad

If we disregard Azuros as an entry, so far, they're giving "apex" to flagship monsters so there is a very high chance. Plus boltreaver exists so it would be hard to implement.

To me Astalos is more than just numbers

It'd be awesome if we got apex forms for Lagombi, Ceanatuar, Tigrex, and Astalos, that would be amazing. But I think it would be even cooler if they made apex forms for monsters that don't have deviants. I feel like Goss, Rajang, bazel and Almudron would be great picks. And maybe instead of a subspecies for Magnamalo, we could get an apex.

Why would it be amazing? They are just recycling weaker versions of all the deviants from GU. Simps like you calling capcom "amazing" for doing the bare minimum are awful

It already appeared in World though and it even got a subspecies. While it would be cool to see the Fated Four in Mhrise I think its fine to leave Glavenus out. Honestly it was weird they decided not to add Gammoth to Iceborne considering the theme.

Its a good mid level armor you can focus all of your shit in crit damage instead while wearing the armor
