I have a tip that I've heard many times before! ^^ Get wigs that are thinner or thinning your wig at the bottom. most people's natural hair isn't thick all the way through, so cutting just some layers at the bottom - if your wig is not already thinner on the ends- can really make it looks so much more natural. Like the wig in video is less full in the ends which makes it look like her real hair!

I recommend looking for orthodox Jew wig salons in your area that customize your wig exactly to your head. It's expensive but worth it. I've ordered several wigs online and because of my weird hairline and wigs never coming out what appears online, I've wasted too much money on return fees. Lots of places in NJ, NYC, Chicago that I've seen. It's a process but the only thing that looks natural. Also, Toppik powder will be your best friend. Choose the right color - no one will ever tell you have powder in your hair. It's the best thing when I'm not wearing my wig.

I got the Simmer elite bc people said it was less dense. The curls were different and the wig just looked awful on me lol. The top portion was sticking out to much where the lace ends. I hated it. Also, my neck is longer so it looked a lot shorter on me and shorter looks don't work for me ugh@@WigsWithSteph

@@deanna3223 yeah, unfortunately there aren’t many, if any orthodox Jewish wig shops in Australia. We don’t have a very large Jewish, let alone orthodox Jewish community down here. But I’ll have a look online. My head is a full inch or two bigger than your average wig size, just a bit to far to simply stretch the cap kinda thing.

Easiest way is probably finding a wig that already has bleached knots - But you can bleach them yourself with a thickened bleach mixture. It seems nerve-wracking to me though because there's the very real possibility of over bleaching 😅

My face length is 7”. I am short 4’10.5. HELP.. just suggestions & your feeling about hand tied. Ithe adhesive ( it stays) dies not help as I’m in Fl & hot anyway. Even the best head bands do not keep it on.. it slides back.

I’m new to wigs and having trouble with the front hairline. I do have bio hair but it is very thin on top. I’m struggling because I’m trying to pull out some of my bio hair on the top and the sides because I think it looks more natural, but it is a different length than the wig so it’s kind of pokey if that makes sense. The sides I don’t have a problem. Should I move the lace front further down on my forehead or put it further back to pull more bio hair out for a more natural look? Please help!

Have you ever tried thinning the hairline of the wig? This is very common with people who glue their wigs to wear them for long periods. They take tweezers a pluck the front and sides for a thinner hairline that looks more natural to theirs. Maybe try looking at a few tutorials to see if it might help! :)

Hey! Are you looking for human hair wigs or synthetic wigs? I didn't mention this in this video, but human hair wigs can have the bleached knots at the front, and if it's a synthetic wig, just look for one that has lighter hair pieces tied into the front of the cap. It will have the same effect. I only say this because synthetic knots can't be bleached (only human hair can), and the wig I'm wearing is from here: wigs.pxf.io/simmer_shadedbiscuit They brought the lighter pieces to the front, so you don't see any knots! =)
