I think a good Minecraft update is when it meets at least one of these three criteria: • Updates an archaic part of the game. • Gives fans what they’ve been asking for. • Changes the way the game is played. The more criteria an update meets, the better it is. The Exploration Update changed the way the game is played. It was moderately well received by the community. The Village & Pillage Update updated an archaic part of the game AND changed the way the game is played. It was very well received by the community. The Caves & Cliffs Update (Part II) updated an archaic part of the game AND gave fans what they’ve been asking for AND changed the way the game is played. It was extremely well received and universally acclaimed by the community, it met all three criteria! The Nether Update also met all three criteria and was also universally acclaimed. Fans are begging for an End Update BECAUSE it would update an archaic part of the game and change the way the game is played. So you could say the “Gives fans what they’ve been asking for” criterion is related to the other two criteria. The Wild Update (a.k.a. The Mild Update/Caves & Cliffs Part III) and The Trails & Tales Update (a.k.a. Caves & Cliffs Part IV) sucked because it didn’t meet ANY of the criteria. Not only did fans not care about the new content, but it didn’t do anything new to the game or improve it in any way. They just added random stuff for the sake of adding random stuff. I think Mojang should update stuff already in the game instead of adding more stuff nobody asked for. It makes the game feel lopsided. Getting more new wood types when we already have plenty is unnecessary, while some structures like jungle temples haven’t been updated since their inception. And removing fireflies was beyond stupid. They already made frogs eat slimes instead (which makes more sense in my opinion), so why are fireflies still removed? That’s like removing parrots after already making them not eat cookies. Mojang has the most arbitrary restrictions I’ve ever seen, it’s weird. This is a great video. Good ranking! 👍🏻👍🏻

16 minutes, awesome. I have a feeling we're on track for a good update with the leaks, and new features for the pot.

The only reason people hate the 1.9 combat is because they prefer using autoclickers than actually putting effort. Having a cooldown is actually way better, because you now need skill. Shields were also a great addition.

If you use an auto clicker for 1.8 combat you’re going to get folded very quickly

No not really. The fast paced combat is just more exciting. The cooldown and shields just make the combat slow and unresponsive. It feels downright sluggish sometimes.
