Well done. I actually had the same ideas in mind about practicality, dependability, etc. I never really get to settle on one build because there are always compromises to be made.

What is the base shown in the start of the video?

I have been a solo player for 3k hours. Now I am in a 10 man and I cannot figure out a good base to make any reccomendation? Currently I make a 3x3 shell with China wall but the stability is horrible and we lose raids to put peaks breaking mid raid.

What is the base called that’s in the background of the video?

I remember when we used to build a 5x5 or 7x7s on main servers, good times 😂

I dont really get the part with hjune 2x2

Every base honestly should be built around online raid defenses, like bunker bases and the like can some what protect against an offline attempt, but most of the time if you get raided offline, you're going to get smashed if the raiders are semi-competent.

Well... on to remaking 90% of my bases cy@ in a couple of months😀

And here I am still building 1x1s with honeycombing and turret pods lol

Love the vid but a lot of the issues you cover are issues that many starting builders run into, however many of your solutions require more advanced techniques such as wall stacking/floor stacking. I understand that this is mainly for clan bases so the clan can just find another builder but for smaller group players like me (usually trio or quad) its not really practical to build a main base from the start with wall stacks or floor stacks.

true, but 8 people in a 5x5 honeycombed and 8 people in The Zeus are very different things. You can still get fucked by a ton of rockets in a 5x5
