maximum strength, least amount of weight ? - that statement is an oxymoron. A structural beam/member with holes punched through it, can't and won't ever be stronger, or as strong as a structural member without holes. You will always end up with something less than the maximum original strength. You should then rather say something like: " slightly less strength, least amount of weight - but a nice looking van - would have this over a Bush Lapa.

He said "the bending angles and structural panels are designed for maximum strength WITH the least amount of weight". So they have achieved maximum efficiency for strength proportionate to weight. Makes sense to me!
