Big respect to Trmvptv for telling the 15 year old to speak for himself but it's sad that he didn't even have a reason why he was doing it. no real guidance
Most kids can't give u reason because they too young to articulate themselves. But the real answer is the culture. I've seen kids that came frm good homes still get caught up in that life

“When you pick this life style make sure you really want this life style” no kid at 12,13,14 years old etc. can make that choice bruh. They’re gonna say yes to anything and say they’re down for anything, no kid is ready for such a commitment at such a young age but the gang life is ruthless, once you chose it that’s it. Look at that 15 year old kid, he can’t even tell you why he wanted to be a 90s Crip he can’t even fully comprehend and still doesn’t know the full extent of what he just got into. It was the thing aroun the time i got put on. I knew about gangs and how they started but like everybody says now and days i didnt understand why my people would want to kill each other. But then other gangs in the area started pressing me i guess because i looked or act like a gangmemeber and eventually i got jumped. First time was over a pokemon card smh but second time i got jumped by a gang. After that my whole mindset changed about it and i jumped in it full fledged cuz id be damned if i get jumped again. At the time i was a angry young kid and no real sense of family at home so i gravitated towards the streets.
This sad that most of these kids won’t be around another 10 years. This is the result of low self esteem. I can identify with the 15 year old. If you grow up in a hood and you go to school, play football, etc with certain people then they are more than local gang members to you. To be honest, this lifestyle looks boring as hell and at a certain age you’ve pretty much cut off other opportunities
