Ur right ?
Galileo discovered the oscillations of pendulum and calculated time. by adjusting the the length. 1 metre long takes 2 seconds per oscillation, 1 feet long takes 1 second per oscillation and half a feet half of a second per oscillation. After the death of Galileo his son continued the research and later Christian huygens designed the first clock mechanism regulated by pendulum. Thus Galileo's invention was completed by Christian Huygens.
thanks i like the animation, explanation, and everything!
2:06, what is that ideal condition? Is it vacuum?
I have just subscribed and I love the way how simple the complicated things are made.... loved it 😍😍
I understand that pendulum counts the seconds by it's oscillations. Longer pendulum of grandfather clocks (tall case stand clocks) takes two seconds per oscillation and are known as seconds pendulum. Shorter pendulum of wall clocks takes one second per oscillation. Very short pendulum of older mantel or bracket clocks took half a second per oscillation. But the motion work of the all the clocks functions in the same timing interval to drive the hands of the clock. The time property of pendulum discovered by Galileo became the basic for mechanical clocks by the invention of Christian huygens.
this really helped with my learning thanks!
The animation is what I come here for
Excellent 👏👏
Very informative video 😃
Wait we need to wind the clock every few days right?? It’s not unlimited energy ? Good video anyways!
😄As usual best videos to learn
Nice explanation can u make a video on translatory motion plz
Thanks for your time and your critical explanation
Thanks
please make video on linear SHM 👍👍👍👍👍
