Hey, Just Eifort saying Hallo. I came across a news story that worried me. Talk about an emergency. Japanese girls into Chinese Cosmetics. The Chinese use Lead like asin lead acid batteries for exported cosmetics. It's to poison the girls and leave them infertile. It's meanness in disguise. As the Chinese laugh. 🚨

Oh believe me, Paolo, kids DO remember, even at such a young age. I still remember things from when I was 2, things I did with my parents and nice moments. So you're doing exactly the right thing taking Wolfy to as many spots as possible. You can see the joy on his face. That's what it's all about :)

We wanted to visit Japan when our daughter was 6 months old but family talked us out of it. In the end, we took her when she turned 1 year old. We do not regret one bit of it. It was an amazing trip; she loved every moment of it, she got so many new impressions and new culture that she could take in, and even if she will not remember when she grows up, we will still have all the pictures to share with her. I never listen to people anymore when they say the children won't remember.

Paolo please disregard anything negative someone says about what you and your family do and focus on what you want to do for your family. What is most important is the joy you all receive when you do activities as a family. Our teenagers are aware that family is the most important part of life because in the end that is who will be there when you pass away.

My mother used to perform at Disneyland when it opened. She took her family to the park all the time, even when I was a baby. To this day I love going to the parks. So keep having experiences with Wolfy even if you don't think he will remember because you and Maiko will remember it. My mother would always tell the story about my first time at Disneyland and I cried in Mickey's face. Do I remember that? No, but the family did and it was good fun talking about it around the dinner table.

Even if Wolfy doesn't remember the visuals of what happened on those particular days, he will remember the love and fun he had with his parents. Our brains are still forming at that age, and being showered with so much love and support is helping him grow. It's also helping him learn how to experience life and going to different places as he get's older. All building blocks for what's to come

The interesting thing these naysayers forget is that you have captured it on film for Wolfy to see at any age. He will remember vague details like we all do about our childhood but he will also have the video proof as a memory. Keep taking him wherever because the look on all your faces when he smiles/laughs is a joy.

I think kids remember at least the feelings of these early outings. I feel like I did. And next time he goes he’ll be even more acclimated. As long as he’s happy and engaged. It’s also nice to see the old folks interacting with little ones too. Socialization happens at all ages. Imagine a place like that without kids under, say, 4. It’s be so weird.

Kids remember. Maybe some people don't, but my son remembers us taking him to Canada day events when he was two, even remembers the food! Never miss an opportunity to go out with your kids, they might remember, or might not, but they WILL be happy, and you will have the memory of those times forever. Festivals in japan look like a blast!and even though my son is 17 now, we both want to experience a japanese festival 😁

Kids do remember! Maybe not consciously, but everything they experience adds up to the sum of who they are. We took our little girl to everything, starting the day she was born -- music festivals, folk dances, arts and crafts fairs, children's play groups... EVERYTHING. Partly was because my wife is addicted to experiences, can't sit still, and partly because it's such an enriching thing. Whoever is criticizing you must not have raised a child... or if they did, well, I feel sorry for their children! To young children, the world is an exciting and magical place, to be experienced to the fullest. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

Kids can absolutely remember stuff that happens at 2, it's just often very selective, and seeing pictures and hearing stories of the events will reinforce the memory over time and make them want to revisit things when they get older. Young children also benefit from positive experiences even if they don't remember them! The more different things you do, the more confident they'll be trying new experiences going forward.

To live and experience life in the moment is instrumental to the development and growth of children’s connection with the world. Even if they don’t remember, in THAT moment in time they are building skills & knowledge, bonding with families, observing, listening, processing information, experiencing emotions and a whole lot more! And just as important- the parents will have cherished memories of that moment with their young ones ❤

I sort of agree with kids not remembering things until they're about 5 years old. But, the fun of having children is getting to do fun things with them for yourself as well, so it's not time wasted because YOU remember it. And you can always take photos of the event so that the time spent will live forever.

Also obviously parents bring their babies to do fun things so the parents can remember/experience bringing their baby along on those experiences. Nothing wrong with that at all! Wolfy will remember! Even if it's not vivid, he got the socialization, the fun, the toys, and as a family it's an important bonding experience. Plus, you have videos now to show Wolfy when he's older!!

Some of my EARLIEST memories are the special occasion days like this, anybody saying otherwise is just dead wrong. Practically the only memories I still have from pre-kindgergarten are of fair days and festivals and holiday parties. Celebration breaks from routine are ALWAYS high-memory events. Party on.

Experiences are so important developmentally for kids! As a teacher, we can predict a student's early achievement based on the life experiences they have had. Also, if they have been read too!

I really enjoy your family videos. My children are older now. I took them all over the place when they were little. I had so much fun & so did they. It was like having an excuse to be a kid again. People used to say that to me too. And I agree with you completely. Thank you for putting it into words. I remember, and not only is it about remembering but it’s about experience. If you want a child to grow up to be socially confident you have to expose them to social situation‘s, (all different ones). Especially fun ones! And look at how many opportunities he had at that festival to use his imagination, make choices practice language skills, social skills the list goes on and on. You guys are great parents and I really enjoy all of your videos so much. It’s hard for me to travel now so your videos give me a little mini vacation. Thank you for sharing your lives.

I’m sure these videos will be archived for Wolfy to see later. If my childhood experiences were recorded at age 1 or 2, the memories would come rushing back pretty quick I would think. Good for you for doing this with him. Love your videos

I don’t remember going to Storyland (a children’s theme park based around storybook characters like Humpty Dumpty) but my parents have photos of me while there and they constantly tell me about what happened (apparently I cried on the mini kids roller coaster) along with other things my family did with me when I was really little (dancing with my big sister at the mall, briefly losing one of my shoes on the Space Needle) and though I’m bummed I can’t remember it, it doesn’t bother me that much outside of one exception. My parental grandpa died when I was five years old. The last time I saw him, I was two. There’s photos of me spending time with him during Christmas but I can’t remember it due to how young I was. It hurts me to know that cause to me having memories of someone you care about means they’re still with you after they’re gone and I don’t have that with him.

Oh my gosh how fun is this?? Wish we had something similarly kid focused in America. Also echoing others, I have a toddler just a little younger than Wolfy and you’re not alone; we take our kiddo to stuff but even if she doesn’t remember, we do! I would do anything to make her eyes light up like that. It’s what makes you guys great parents!
