    The first tree turns out to be a rose bush the second ones long gone and the house was demolished 10 years ago.

    I think Australia is rated higher than the US in most social/living standards. So does the UN. But they are not that reliable.

    nobody on the planet pays as much TAX as Americans ,, americans get taxed by their states and by the Federal Government , when they go into a restaurant , they pay 2 taxes, one for the food and one for the service,,,tip or tax , they are the same thing , a charge for a service provided ,,, everywhere they go , if they want to purchase ANYTHING ,,, there will a TAX added , and hey we all got to pay the tax man if we want to live in a SOCIAL SOCIETY as opposed to a SOCIALIST SOCIETY or a CAPITALISTIC/ CONSUMER DRIVEN SOCIETY where everyman is either a slave to the gov or a slave to the boss and his company
