14:03 you can actually survive the firing, even without mods! Just place a ladder and it will save you. The firing sequence will continue anyway, but they will fail to remove your player from the ship.

Someone survived the 'fired event' and stopped being vaccumed off the ship by using the ladder and getting it stuck on the ship ceilling and staying behind it.

Also, fyi Nutcrackers will not attack you if they don't see you moving during Sentry mode (The scan)

But they still kick you if they walk into you, which is instant kill.

9:40 this is because the monsters use individual NavMeshes so in order for them to work outside they need a navmesh connected for that

The giant spheres outside the ship are the planet and moon models, they show up on your ship camera while in orbit but their textures aren't visible during ejection.

Fun fact! You can survive being ejected from the ship by extending a ladder inside and standing on it. The ladder won't move when everything else is ejected, so you can stay on the ship. You'll still lose and the game will restart, but it's fun that you can do that.

My first experience with a Masked was terrifying, it legit felt like a movie scene. I stayed back in the ship to watch the monitors, I was playing in a group of three. After finishing my typical mom routine by asking the other two if they had everything they needed and if they recharged their equipment, they headed out. I went to check the monitors and I saw their markers moving. Then I see a third player marker trailing them. This isn't right? I'm on the ship, this is a private lobby and I'm not out there with them. The it hit me. I about screamed on the walkie 'You two, watch it, Mimic behind you!'

The Nutcracker has an eye with tentacles that control it? I would have completely overlooked that in the normal game. A really interesting detail when you consider that the buyer in the company also has a tentacle. And the Konga scene was hilarious! Thanks for the video!

Why the monsters don’t function outside: Nav mesh and nodes. They are for AI pathing (duh) and the surface ones aren’t programmed for the sub level monsters, and vice versa

Rend is the best moon because of the item + item value to danger ratio and also its a pretty good outdoor map and no one can deny mansion

There's a mod that spawns indoor monsters outside. I think it's called Brutal Company? Nothing overly interesting happens, they're just outside, and none of the interactions are special. But seeing these guys outside is weirdly scary because they always have direct access to you.

Edit: I played with Brutal Company a bit more after leaving this comment. The enemy AI gets kinda bugged and it seems Brutal Company modifies the AI of enemies in order to function outside but this can break the AI inside the facility (supposedly, Brackens break, but I haven't been able to verify it, but I can confirm coil head AI completely breaks inside and they basically don't function)

You can't kill the slime but we managed to bug it by blowing it up with the landmine. It got stuck there. This was in main of mansion tile.

You can get the inside monsters outside by installing the Lethal Escape mod

I seen someone block the ships entrance after a failed quota, they stayed in the ship but obviously got reset anyway

One time my game glitched when i joined a lobby whilst the ship was landing and any time i left the facilit it would place player hash tag right outside also plaayer hashtag was butter and i could not see his real body and his voice box was inside player hash tag and when butter held something it showed up in player hashtags hand but when they died it never appeared again but there voice box was stuck at the ship and i could here them whilst they were dead

Oh also when anything attacked butter for all of us it would not kill him and the monster would be permanetly stuck even through days the only way butter died is when player hashtag was left behind killing butter and butter was now permanatly invisible to everyone and permanatly unkillable
