As klay comes back it'll give more spacing to wiggins to slash and dunk to the hoop, while curry has either klay or wiggins to pass to. It finna be lit! Can't wait! 🔥😬🌉👌🏀

Klay Thompson will be an awesome piece on the golden state warriors! I'm counting him at already 50 points on his come back game!

I really hope he will recover 100%

On one hand, I wonder what will happen to the guys that have picked up the scoring slack, such as Wiggins and Poole. On the other hand, the spacing problems that Klay will create for the other team's defense is going to be fun: you double-team Steph, have someone shadow Klay, and then you're left with two defenders guarding three Warriors.

Poole would probably end up becoming a sixth man or backup for either if Klay is 37 in a quarter Klay, otherwise, Klay might end up being the sixthman who's slotted in when the teams needs buckets. Wiggins would remain the same, except spacing will definately aid in his drives

Luckily Klay isn't someone who needs the system to revolve around him. But yeah Poole will have to be ok leading the bench unit. Also, since Kerr has changed up Steph's minutes, there may be a lot of times when it's Poole and Klay on the floor. It'll be interesting to see how Kerr decides to stagger everyone's minutes.

this is the first reason i fell in love with the Golden State Warriors to begin with the relationship between klay and curry while in other teams or any other era will for sure hate each others or at least be more selfish or aggressive but on the gsw they got nothing but love and respect toward each others

i love it when they say they can watch klay shoot all day. that is team chemistry.

Nah, Imma have to disagree with Andre. Klay can’t shoot the shots Curry can, but Steph can shoot the shots that Klay can. Off the dribble, consistently being double teamed, under pressure, long range, Curry can do it all. Winning a 3 point contest isn’t enough to prove the better shooter. Curry can do much more with the three than Klay can.

fwiw, here's a Physics-based take on who is the better shooter between Klay and Steph. if you got it when they talked about vectors in yr HS Physics or Math class, it is easily understood vectors math would split the release angle of a shot into a horizontal and a vertical component the greater the arc on the shot, the greater the vertical component relative to the horizontal. The force with which one pushes the ball, the strength of the "touch"[=force] that supplies the distance is divided between those vertical and horizontal components, in proportion to the arc of the shot. the greater the arc on a shot, the more of that force is going into the vertical, and the less into the horizontal with a higher arc, the same difference in force=push applied to 2 shots, will produce less diff in distance in the same 2 shots It takes some visualizing, but the end result is with a higher arc, there is more margin of error in how exactly correct the force=push applied to the ball can be and still make the shot. the diff between being too short or too long represents a larger difference in force/push applied. the same diff in push that moves a shot 1inch further on the horizontal vector with a very high arc, will move it more than an inch on the horizontal vector if the shot has less arc. Steph, who shoots 3s with a higher arc than Klay, has a greater margin of error in how accurate his touch must be to make a shot Klay's flatter arc requires more precisely accurate touch/push/force applied to the shot for the distance to be right. if you hold a ball in the plane of the rim; there isn't a lot of empty space left over, the margin of error is a few inches. So my personal verdict is Steph is the better shooter, he makes a similar % on a far greater variety of shots, a significant % of which are more difficult but Klay has a more precisely accurate shooting touch, becuz he makes that similar % with less arc and if Klay spends an off-season re-inventing his jump shot with the higher arc Steph has, watch out league, they'll cook yr goose OTOH, I imagine if I could shoot like Klay, I'd be VERY reluctant to mess around w/ re-inventing what I'm doing when I shoot

Look folks , Iguadala is great and everything , but there's no way that Klay has ever been a superior shooter than Curry . Klay is an amazing shooter , but he doesnt have the shooting numbers , or percentages that even can compete / compare with Curry's GOAT Shooting stats in 13 seasons . Klay has never been Quad covered by 4 players to stop his drives or shots from 2 or 3 like Curry has for years . Nobody but Curry : Makes 100 Threes in row more than once in a Practice over the last 5 years . Shoots and makes the most 3s in the Regular Season 402 , and Post Season history 98 combined. Is on Pace this season in 2021/ 2022 season to shatter his own record of 402 threes , to set a new record , and make 475 threes . AYFKM ? Shoots a trick shot from the tunnel before games for years , and makes them most of the time . Makes shots from Half Court at the last second of halfs of games . Shoots a 70 foot shot in a Playoff game , and makes it swish . Shoots from literally anywhere in the Half Court for over 50 percent or more on 2s , and 40 - 45 percent lifetime from 3 . Shoots 3s like they are layups . Shoots in the 90s on Shooting Percentage on Free throws . Is a multiple 50 40 90 player . Klay unfortunately doesn't have ANY of these talents , or stats .

Lol i feel u. Klay is the only person who can rival him. And if he turns it on, like he did at the 3 point competition he can beat him. Its a good thing lol they are splash brothers. If there is someone who can out shoot you depending on how hot they get, you'd want them on your team lol. If he gets back in there he can recover about 150 - 200 of them in the last 40 games if he hits like 4 - 5 Threes per game this season at least . That will get him back in the All Time 3s made list chase , and almost in the Top 10 All Time .

Yes it is going to be dangerous for teams when klay and Wiseman come back.
