Furina and Focalors are the same person. It is like how Nahida is Rukhadevata, and Beelzebul is Ei. There is no difference, they are the same person. Egeria’s consciousness is located in the Sumeru Desert, not the fountain.

If I remember correctly, yes, Furina is the same as Focalors, but she's only 1/2 of Focalors. The other half is the Oratrice. My theory is, Egeria passed down the title to Focalors, which then she split in two between Furina and the Oratrice, and I think the Oratrice was the one talking to Neuvillette in the 4.1 trailer.

I believe that almost every one is saying furina is useless but i think when we get further story updates there will be a strong reason of why she behaves like that and what is her actual importance. No i am not talking this because i m fan of her etc, but i think the story will turn in that way.

Could those three thrones in Fontaine, represent the three different powers in Fontaine, based off the US government, legislative, executive and judicial branches...

you do know the powers you just mentioned are very common in a lot other countries right? such as france, and most of European countries? its a possibility but is too vague I think, besides what sets contain apart from other regions is the fact that is lead solely by judicial power, bringing the others into play would defeat the theme

no. France has 3 “streams” of courts of law. one is for private parties such as businesses, one is for civil parties, and the last one is for when there is a conflict between the two.

@@prfctvelvet Not entirely. there are a lots of Eastern European names, mainly Romanian appearing (names form Romanian mythology, for ex Cosanzeana). There's even a Hungarian titled Achievement (Lennék én folyóviz). Also, there are some elements taken from not just French, but other European folktales.

I really hope that the Champion Duelist Arena is the next permanent content addition to the game after Genius Invocation TCG

My money is on the furina & focalor are actually the same, not in nahida n rukkhadevata term, but more like that's literally one person split into two, we always put on head canon her as someone with split personality (with how her eyes looks) but what if to find answer of the previous archon she realize she can't do both upholding justice while meddling with her own inner turmoil, so she split her consciousness & put one in the oratrice delivering verdict while her other more jubilant & candid consciousness in the body of furina. Too bad, like the oceanid ann (in the narzissenkreuz quest) the split can become more permanent & both become a total separate entity thus make her furina existence struggle to understand her other self (like oratrice's decision to childe) while the one in the oratrice/fountaine isolated and trapped as now that they become separate entity they can no longer merge into one

Hear me out on this one. What if the gathering between arle, neu and furina is a flashback? I mean maybe that is why childe is convicted as guilty. The grand plan to infiltrate the Meropide, itself. Furina and Neu acting as if childe is guilty of the incident following the disappearing cases of women in Fontaine. I mean we haven't seen anything as to how the trial started in the first place (We just got a message from the guards that Childe is being questioned by the higher orders.) Anything leading to this point may be Arlecchino's grand plan to save fontaine. Everything up until this point is nothing but an act. Varce, Navia, etc. There's a reason why that all the things just happened all at once without any warning or anything. That's the reason why arlechinno said something in the lines of: "Very good, but not enough." There is a reason why Fontaine is centered in an opera. Now, what do opera singers do just like every performing arts? Act based on a character they are given. My theory is that: All these cases we have been involved so far, is Arlecchino's plan to save fontaine (In which Neuvillete agrees since this might be the least brutal of them all). The reason as to why Neu sent us there is to, you guessed it: To check on childe, since he has tendencies to challenge anyone, including wrio, in which he(neuvillete) feared that childe may disappear too. Please take this as a grain of salt, since I just made this all up in the shower(IDK what's the connection between those but oh well. LMAO) Another note: During the trailer, an NPC questioned Neu's justice system, maybe this is about the traveler's fake crime, which became so controversial. (I like to think that the people of Fontaine respected us, the traveler since we have beaten Furina in her home turf.) TL;DR: The entirety of the Fontaine's act is all just a big play. The Puppeteer is no other than, Arlecchino, itself.

I feel like Nuevillette is actually the Hydro Archon masquerading as the Chief Justice while putting a proxy in the seat. Furina just doesnt have any qualities of a god and the 4.1 Trailer solidified my statement. Remember that God are proud beings who refuse to bend their knees to anyone but Furina was openly begging to who seemed to be Arlecchino. Guizhong didnt submit to the ocean demon that attacked Guili Assembly and died with a blade in her hand even Nahida who is the weakest of the current Seven refused to bend her knee to Scaramouche. She just doesnt have any characteristics to be a god and then we come to Egeria proclaiming Nuevillette as the one who has all the Authority over Fontaine.

Furina is the hydro archon regardless from her behavior, Dainsleif already said this in the Tevyat Footsteps video.maybe she gave her powers to Oratrice or lived similar situation like Nahida to protect her people, we dont know yet. About her talking high and mighty, she is just wearing a mask in front of her people because she wants to entertain and please them. Maybe quest name is Masquerade for the Guilty because of that, huh?

Does this sound like something Neuvillette would say? "My ideals have no stains. I must correct you. People here bear no sins in the eyes of the gods... Only laws and the tribunal can judge someone. They can judge even me. So praise my magnificence and purity" This is a quote from the hydro ascension gem. Each ascension gem has a quote from that elements respective archon. Judging from the lines above the hydro archon is Furina. I can't imagine Neuvillette saying those words unironically. Also the voice that says Neuvillette will judge all of Fontaine is Furina. Egeria's va has been revealed during the final feast trailer and it doesn't sound like the voice talking to Neuvillette during the 4.1 trailer. This is more obvious in the JP dub. Neuvillette is more likely to be the reincarnated hydro sovereign who ruled the area of Fontaine before celestia arrive.

Yea but currently furina is the hydro archon maybe after 4.2 after neuvillette get his memories back he will judge all ppl below him including archons as the title says he's the god of justice

It's important to remember the gods in Genshin aren't infallible and all the earthly gods(I.E those not born in Celestia), seem to be very human at their core. In both examples provided, Guizhong was a seasoned player in the Archon War and very mature as a person, plus, she knew she didn't have to submit. Even if she fell, her assailant would not get past Morax. Meanwhile, Nahida knew exactly how to defeat Scaramouche, and believed victory to be very much possible, so why should she yield? Case in point, the gods in Genshin are ultimately very similar to humans- there is no 'set personality type'. What you call pride is just a natural reaction given the circumstances, human soldiers would do the same. Plus, we have examples of gods that did bend the knee- Havria and Orobashi. Havira outright bent the knee to every god seeking her territory until her own followers killed her, and Orobashi had to have bent the knee to the 'Golden God' (either Ei or Morax) to be not sealed or killed by them. Sure, Furina may not act very much like a god, but as far as every source in Teyvat is concerned, she is the Hydro Archon. Plus, with how heavily it's been teased that Neuvillette's the Hydro Sovergin, I doubt Celestia would let a dragon lord take the throne of Hydro Archon.
