I did the same thing once in a tournament. Luckily I had flipped my cards to show my royal flush draw and the dealer awarded me the hand on a straight.

I watch alot of airline disaster analysis and pilots do the exact same thing sometime. they fixate on one thing so strongly that their brain doesn't even process other things. as you said, he was fixated and didn't even consider the gutshot

First off🎣 got me with clickbait. Who else thought the caption meant rampage either lost his a** or won a huge pot? 100% without a doubt he didn’t know he hit a straight and was focused on the diamond ♦️ draw 🤦🏻‍♂️

Rampage style of play is unsustainable long-term. He will be out of the poker world by next yr if he continues with this overly aggressive 85% vpip. Players have learned his aggressive bluff play style, so he's almost always getting called. Switch it up or fade away.

Rampage sucks.

LMAO when I read the title to this video I was thinking of one singularly unlikely outcome for Mo's hand anticipating the straight flush. I was right about an unlikely outcome happening, but I was completely wrong about what the outcome really was.... haha. Also the Chinese game EFAN is talking about is a trick taking game where each card represents a different animal (e.g. a Joker being the elephant and trumps all other cards, but then the lowly 2 is a mouse that scares the elephant and trumps the elephant).

A7 folded pre in that last hand… coulda doubled through Rampage if he woulda limped in for the family pot and let it get to the turn.
