Democracy means a system of government in which state power is vested in the people or the general population of a state, in china they elect local and lower government officials just like we do in the UK or Canada, Australia and New Zealand. What they want is a democracy based on the US system which is absolute nonsense, what sane person would want that for their country and or city. China is more democratic than the UK and US and all those so called Western democracies, in China they represent the views of its people, the British government dont.
