I’m sorry for your loss. Our loved ones are doing much better than we are here. They’re our light towers who remind us where home is, with our God who is love. I believe they want us to make it there too, probably because they know now how awesome it is there. There’s nothing to earn for it down here, but we have a mission to accomplish that is aligned with God’s will and only He can lead us the way. We, who have people there whom we cherish and miss, are blessed by God because no matter where God leads us in this life, heaven will always be on our minds, it will always be our focal point and our loving God will always be the bridge between them and us until we’re all reunited together again. ❤ Please take your time to heal, brother in Christ.

Amen! I love Jesus. My life completely changed after I got baptised in the name of Jesus. For months I felt a yearning for the Lord and I couldn't take it anymore. I realized I had to stop certain things and I realized I couldn't do it on my own. But after the Holy Ghost came inside of me my life was never the same. If you continue to Study the Holy Bible ( King James Version ), Prayer, and Fasting your will not ever backslide Ephesians 6:10 -18. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 12:1-11. You will be able to find out what gift the Holy Spirit have allowed you to have, when you are praying with someone or witnessing to someone, the Holy Spirit, Will manifest himself through the Gift. Please don't let people get you off into the Lost Books, God have never lost his word. Some amplified Bibles, will take words out of some scriptures, always compare with the King James version the Holy Spirit will put on your heart to do so. And if you hear people' say something about the word of God that you've never heard, seek it out before you receive it in your spirit, or repeated to someone else. They have a really bad saying that Jesus after he died on the cross went to hell and show the demons he had the keys, etc,. When you read Luke chapter 16:19 - 31 you will know that is not true. Some preach Genesis chapter 6, that the sons of God, are angels who had children by human women and their children were mighty men ( giants ) Goliath was really tall, in today's world, we see extra tall people men and women. We know fallen Angels demons don't reproduce humans, they would be some half human half spirits. Many people take the word of God out of context, and come with their own ideas. Always compare scriptures, with Cross Reference, the Holy Bible interprets itself. If you can't understand a fan of the answer to a certain scripture, just believe. . God magnifies his word above his name. Memorize God's promises, and we can pray God's word back to him, His word do not return to him void. And when we have problems we can go find scriptures, and fight the enemy with the word of God Hebrews 4:12, 13. The closer you get to God, the more careful you have to be not to fall... You won't if you stay in the word and pray. Always be quick, when God use you as his instrument, to work with him, always be quick to give Him the glory... And stop people from trying to give his glory to you. I'm happy that you have received the Holy Ghost in the inner inside John 16:7; 3:1-8; Acts 2:4; Chapter 10; 19:1-6; Luke 11:9-13. Continue to say thank you JESUS over and over, clap your hands, and speak in the HOLY Ghost language, so he will continue to fill you with the over flow. And you will have trials, because this is a suffering way taking up your cross and bearing it daily. You learn Jesus Christ through your trials if we never had problems, we wouldn't know he could solve them. Psalm Chapter 139, Ephesians 1:3-5 the Lord knows everything about us, Remember, Trouble works itself out!

I saw this 1999 and was my understanding of it but other bible teachers don't believe that Jesus went and preached to the dead.

Where do you think Paradise was? Paradise was the other side of hell, where believers were located BEFORE Christ's resurrection, also known as The Bosom of Abraham. Once Jesus was resurrected and in heaven, THEN those gates were open. I had just recently found this out myself, maybe just a year or two ago. Keep studying the scriptures!! God Bless:-)

@@brucetowell3432 The term “Abraham’s bosom” is found only once in the New Testament, in the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). I personally don’t follow any manmade creeds. I do my best to “rightly divide the word of truth” directly from scripture and from sermons of great preachers and being a “Berean” searching the scripture to see if their words match. Abraham’s Bosom is “paradise”. This is where the Old Testament Saints went at death. They were resurrected with Jesus when he rose from the dead. They went to heaven with Jesus at his ascension. It was directly across from Hell until the resurrection. Paradise is now empty. When we die, we go directly to heaven when if we’re saved. Hell is still in existence. This is where the unsaved go at death. Hell is cast into the Lake of Fire after judgement.

"Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; he seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell ("hell", Greek hades, meaning "mankind's common grave", and NOT eternal torment), neither his flesh did see corruption."(Acts 2:31) So, according to Peter and the King James Bible, just as David was dead, ceasing to exist, so likewise of Jesus was in "hades hell" for three days, ceasing to exist, which should cause a sincere Bible reader to "look twice" at this scripture and see for himself accurately what Acts 2:29-31 really says, whereby a modern English accurate translation reads: "Men, brothers, it is permissible to speak with freeness of speech to you about the family head David, that he died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath that he would seat one of his offspring on his throne, he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he forsaken in the Grave nor did his flesh see corruption."(Acts 2:29-31, 2013 New World Translation) At Acts 5:30, Peter told the Jewish Sanhedrin: "The God of our forefathers (Jehovah, see Ex 6:3) raised up Jesus, whom you KILLED, hanging him on a stake." Since Jesus was dead for three days, what did God now do, according to his "timetable" ? Acts 2:32 says: "This Jesus hath God raised up (or resurrected Jesus, bringing him back to life), whereof we all are witnesses."(King James Bible) At 1 Corinthians 15:45, the apostle Paul wrote: "So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam (Jesus Christ) became a life-giving spirit (upon his resurrection)." Of those who have died, Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 says: "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun."

Jesus did NOT go to hell and preach to the dead when he was in the tomb... this is a lie from satan! If you read the scripture it says " in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared". If He was not in the grave then He also would not have fulfilled the only 'sign' He said would be given that He WAS the Messiah... that of being IN the grave 3 days AND 3 nights!

Hmmmmmmm now this is just unfortunately NOT ACCURATE......when Jesus had the conversation with the thief on the cross what did He tell him??? The Lord said TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE!!!!!
