I saw Sunday Jeff in your vid so that explains why the guys from CBM weren't there since they don't work on Sundays.

Thank you! We're making an effort to better the quality of our videos. We've got some more at home videos on deck and hope to be doing some destination and experience-centric videos again soon. But yeah, the Stash is a great place. Good comic book store with staff that care about you and your business.

2:10, I’m pretty sure that, that’s the actual sign. They even said it in one of the earlier episodes with Kevin Smith himself confirming it. I mean, why would they have a “replica”? They obviously have to have the actual screen used one, especially there of all places, based on what they said in that specific episode, which I can’t remember off the top of my head.

(*Correction 3:17) - No Bryan and Ming don't work at the store. Ming was Kevin Smith's web design guy and pretended to work at the store for comic book men. And as established in CBM, (although Bryan briefly managed the LA location many, many years ago)... He doesn't actually technically work at the store, he just hangs out there a lot...

Thanks for the video! Being from Russia, I always wondered what the Stash looks like from inside. You should also do a video after they rebuild a new Stash down the street. I think it's supposed to be done in April 2021 or something.

Hi guys. I just wanna say that although I love Kevin Smith and comic book men, the store was a tourist trap in my opinion. Around 2017 or 18 I got my license and first car so I did my own version of a nerd tour. I pulled up google, searched “comic book shop nj” and every weekend I would go to a new comic store to get my weekly releases, hunt paper back walking dead issues, and some times pick up collectibles. This store is great but very over priced, under stocked, and when I went in it felt unlively being that half of the store was barely lit with good lighting. I would say that NJ has much much better stores if you’re looking for collectibles and comics although I can’t recommend any by name since I’ve been to so many lol

I'd love to visit this store, just to see all the memorabilia because I love the movies, but in terms of just being a comic book store, it wasn't as awesome as I thought it would be!

Oky so I know I'd never wanna go because it went from a comic book store to a shrine of Kevin Smith in his own personal museum of his self ok been alot cooler to go back during the show you know a real store compared to what I seen here

What the deuce are you talking about? The store has ALWAYS been this way (*they have since moved locations but same thing). The store is literally called Jay and Silent Bob Secret Stash. It is owned by Kevin Smith so why wouldn't the store carry his merch? His merch aside, the store has more comic books, toys, and collectibles than most mom and pop stores. So.... what are you complaining about?

One of our earlier videos were we came onto camera with prepared thoughts rather than letting the camera roll and letting thoughts come organically. Our first few videos are like this before we took a long break. We learned from them and now we’re back. We’ve put up 5 new videos in the last 2 weeks and I think we’re a lot more comfortable and loose. Do let us know what’s working and what’s not. Feedback is appreciated.
