Kevin Smith Breaks Down Jay and Silent Bob Fan Theories from Reddit | Vanity Fair

Ойын-сауық

Kevin Smith discusses the Reddit fan theories surrounding films in his cinematic universe, including “Clerks,” “Clerks II,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” “Mallrats,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “Zac and Miri Make a Porno,” and “Yoga Hosers.” Do his characters live in the same universe as the MCU? Is Colleen M. from “Yoga Hosers” actually Silent Bob’s long lost daughter? Did Azrael have ulterior motives in “Dogma”? What is the true reason for Silent Bob’s silence?
JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT will be in theaters nationwide on October 15 & 17, 2019. Tickets are available at: FathomEvents.com/Reboot

@@Clod15 yes he had a heart attack without noticing it cause no body told him. He smoked so much weed it kept him calm during the process. his doctor was first person to tell him what was going on and he had one of the worst heart issues when coming to the surgery but the doctor managed thanks to kevin being calm via the weed. Afterwards he realized he needed to lose weight to prevent more occurring heart attacks.

I love the idea of a Jay and Silent Bob multiverse. That'd be cool. Also I love how he's always casting his family and friends in his movies. It adds a realness to it. It's super hard to be expressive without saying anything. Randall did have some super sweet lines, I assumed being Silent Bob gave you more writing/directing time.

  • @Alex-kf4zf

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot would be a strong indicator that they aren't a shared universe, since Melissa Benoist is starring in the Bluntman v Chronic movie, meaning that at least in that universe, someone with that face is named Melissa Benoist and a human actress, not a Kryptonian pretending to be Kara Danvers. It also seems unlikely it's Jay and Silent Bob in the Flash, since they don't really seem the Security Guard type; it's probably just a coincidence that they're billed as Jay the Security Guard and Bob the Security Guard... haha Also Jason Mewes played a different character in S02E21
