Halo Infinite's Max Rank Hero requires 9,319,350xp to achieve. Each kill is worth 100xp, 180xp in BTB. It will take roughly 90,000 kills or 50,000 in BTB modes. I've linked helpful websites to track your progress in the description :)

Master Chief's armor is the perfect reward for max XP rank. It gives it a mythical feel and something that's great to see because you KNOW those players earned it (if not by being crazy good, then being crazy grinders that love Halo Infinite). Play a lot, get Chiefs armor. I wish they did similar "legend" cores for lower ranks (like even just older models of Master Chiefs armor). Some stuff shouldn't be available to purchase and should only be earnable.

100% Agree - I love that if you see MC on the field, you immediately know this person knows the game. As you said, some things need to be earned.

My man really says husky raid is relaxing and can drop 90+ kills meanwhile every match I've played is my team leaving after we get spawn killed 80 times in a row 😂

90 kills would be doable for me if the game gave me better weapons than a plasma pistol, pulse carbine, or assault rifle. I'll get one match where I actually regularly get power weapons and get 50+ kills then for the next 10 matches I get nothing. Gotta love SBMM.

@@Bagginsess I want a version of HR with no power weapons. The best players will be versatile with everything, rather than just getting lucky with power weapons.

If they started the progression system from the release date I would have been one of the first people in the world to have it. You have no idea how frustrating that is. To know that I have to grind another x amount of games for the achievement after already having almost 9500 matches.

Husky Raid is the only gamemode where I don't feel the pure cancer of SBMM when I play. It's so refreshing. Every match (almost) feels like a real struggle to see which team is better, it's rarely a one-sided stomp. I also get about 20 kills a match, sometimes 30ish, at the very least, 10-15. Capturing flags- always try it when you have thrusters or grapples to make you faster. It gets you 310 points pretty easily for taking and capturing the flag. Try to return your flag every chance you get- even if it's right by it's spawn, because it gets you 25ish points, which is a nice little bonus. I'm about halfway through Silver and chugging along nicely after trying Husky Raid and playing a bunch.

Just look at the exp you get from an average game of FFA, the. Compare to your average game of BTB and Husky Raid Mint will have much harder of a time finding games because of his skill level, I’ve never had a problem and it’s my fav playlist I think it’s pretty much as viable as any other playlist (in BTB I don’t do well) so the only other playlist that would be better is Husky Raid, I just go back and fourth between FFA and Husky Raid mostly

@@MintBlitz for people who are as good as you 😂 I get 10 kills max in BTB and never more than 30 in husky raid Granted I get about 15-20 in FFA, but it’s not big enough a difference to really sway for me (or your average Joe I’d assume)

Agree with this. Big team is also really fun when you're with friends, but as a solo, most often the other team has all the vehicles and power weapons and there is little you can do. In FFA you can often still get kills even if your teammates aren't helpful.

Thing that annoyed me is I played a hell of a lot before the progression system then had to start again at the lowest rank when it came out

I've been ranking up pretty quickly on Firefight matches. So I've been doing that and am on gold private 2/3. So Now I know how much more I need to go, thanks!

thanks for this video and clearing up some misconceptions. I thing i've been doing is swapping between husky and btb so i dont get locked out of matchmaking as often as I would sticking to one playlist, sbmm is the real killer of the grind

I just wish the 1 hour xp boosts worked for career xp as I have over 115 saved up plus I hope Firefight will have good xp per hour Stars when it goes live into matchmaking.

I like how Master Chief’s armor is the max “hero” rank since Master Chief is literally the hero of the whole Halo franchise. My favorite way to get XP is playing husky raid, it’s one of my favorite modes.

When I play BTB my teammates never ever pick up the power weapons. So I hop in the banshee and die immediately, while the enemy banshee stays alive the whole round

I’m one of them. I hate the power weapons. They’re just to easy to get kills with & I don’t feel right using them. I’d rather die over & over & lose the match than use those broken arse weapons. I also don’t use weapons that are ugly either because fuck that shit

That’s how it’s like for everyone, it’s the weird matchmaking system that 343 and other AAA developers use to keep engagement higher.

Perhaps having double XP boost weekends that work toward the career progression could keep the gamers engaged more!

I feel like they should give us a system for campaign xp to give us wraps and stuff for not only the master chief armor like for example one that makes him have Cortanas color scheme and weapon skins. Like for example have a challenge where you complete a specific mission with a certain number of skulls on for like 1000 xp per the rarer challenges and 500 for the normal matches

​@@borisglaser6972try to control power weapons including the shock rifle. And when you see a scorpion or a wasp or even a wraith, take it. You can also find some good camping spots when you have the energy sword or the gravity hammer. You can take good advantage of melee weapons on the map breaker and oasis because of the good camping/hiding spots

All points earned during game is counted as XP for rank. In Husky raid if you catch flag it’s 300 counts as 3 kills.

i remember getting in a good clan early H5 and getting achilles armor. that was a good reward

It’s kind of a tricky one for me .. game play isn’t as consistent for me because I’m based in South Africa so it throws me in high ping lobbies most of the time

It would be awesome if they put blue team as customization options for the armor but it's great to see it at all love that there's more earnable items

I started yesterday and already halfway through silver I’ll have this by the end of next month 💪🏼

I've noticed in Firefight mode if you stay in the hill and earn kills you get 3,000 to 5,000 xp/personnel score. Been doing this since it came out and I'm finally at Diamond General it does take a while to play firefight especially if you get a few defeats, but it is worth it.

I think this games slowly making a come back I’ve seen a lot more players on and new ranks and I happy that’s happing been playing halo since halo2 and would hate to see this game die so I’m all for this new rank system gives people something to do when they play

Thought I had to play ranked battle. Nice to know I can play as normal to get the armor.

Now that Halo looks like it's shaping up, I'll try and actually set a goal to grind towards. You can't deny that the armor details looks so good in this one.

That is so much work just for master chief's armor. Unless there's good XP gain in firefight, I honestly don't think I'll ever get anywhere close to that amount. At least not before Halo 7 is released in another decade

I'm not a big PvP person anymore, so Firefight is my main joy that doesnt risk me burning out. This is great advice though!

They want EVERYONE to have endured the same XP grind in order to achieve because otherwise it just becomes a cheap reward that was way easier for people with money. (If XP boosts aren’t available for purchase that’s my bad I thought they were)

@kennethpresley9173 you still have to play the game. Yes it'll make the grind easier, but you can't just spend money on levels to get to Max rank. And for any person spending THAT much money to just get to max rank like that of the battle pass.... just why would you spend on that?

"there's nothing we can do" -Napoleon but seriously this will take me literal years, i usually average around.. 5/10 kills each match (im very casual) it would take way too long, hopefully when firefight comes out it makes the grind a bit less tedious

I remember when they brought the rank out at first the bot game mode gave rank points then they took it out and now it’s like 1/3 of the score you get

More earnables as we climb the tiers would be amazing as well. A head or armour effect per tier would be cool, or even weapon skins unique to bronze, silver, gold, diamond, etc. Just getting badges/stickers kinda sucks.

They should allow us to use our xp tokens for career ranks along with battle pass

does it? it's only like 3,000-4,000 a match, big team battle can give you 5,000+. maybe Legendary and LASO ff will give more XP

could've sworn Squad battle gave you the "btb extra xp" or whatever it says when it gives you your xp after match, unless that's only for battle pass xp

I did the math doing a preset routine in maybe an hour and a 1/2 to 2 hours a day it's only gonna take me 2 months to get there which is a lot but it's not bad

Btb heavies is not that bad. I can usually maintain my average 20-25 kills per game. Btb heavies is chill I think

So, are people doing husky raid or BTB? I find matches pretty quick in husky, and BTB I tend to get smoked by sweats and my team never seems to take the power vehicles (I will go for them, but they tend to be fodder). I'm silver rank, and was bronze last week, and get matched up against gold/plats/diamonds/the odd onyx, does social rank get matched against each other?

As someone with 2400 CSR in Ranked SWAT, it is impossible for me to find a social Tactical Slayer match. Estimated wait time is 23s but takes over 15 minutes for me. I just play BTH now.

I never get those veichles, and now all my matches in cod is 60 ping and all max lvl sweats like each my buddy supposedly has cronus and it pairs you with them

I'm gonna try my best to get max rank in Infinite. I've never gotten it on a Halo game before. I came really close to Inheritor on Reach but I was 13 when it came out and after making it to like Eclipse or something my family moved to bumfuck nowhere and I didn't get internet again until Halo 4 was out 😂😂

Only thing that hurts about the reward is that it doesn’t work for past seasons. I grinded out 5000 games in season 1+2 but here I am in mid platinum for rank 😥. Off to the grind!

@@lolcat lol no maybe 1% of the player base would have Diamond from the start if it was retro active. Even as I type this less than 50 players have hero and they are all either full time streamers or people with no jobs. Everyone else would have been plat or lower when they added ranks. Even then Plat General is barley 25% of the way to hero. Making it not retro active is dumb as hell. Makes all the game you played before pointless towards rank even tho you spent the time. Now rank only shows how much you played since season 4 released. That’s it.

if i play quick play mostly can i still get maxed ranked with just quick play alone? i have 24k kills most in the quick play game mode

At 0:51 you say that the progression system is different from the rank system but I’m still unclear as to which you should focus on to get these rewards

I recently started playing again am no BronzeMajor and saw it takes me 7900 mactehs to get Hero. BTB is really fun to get EXP but i love Super Fiesta even though it doesnt give as much EXP its the most fun mode if you don`t play to Serious. Anyway thanks for the advice will try my best to get better so i can achive Hero faster.
