I cannot believe HOW GORGEOUS this spec is, that color combination, the materials it's amazing, I like this A LOT. Also, I was genuinely TERRIFIED when I saw your hat go flying on the Highway, like my god man, I had never gotten nervous watching a video before and I hoped it had fallen in the back seat. Thankfully you were able to stop and recover it!

Hey neighbor! Gorgeous spec for that DB12 but oh man $340k is crazy. DB11 was a lot less expensive. What happened? $340k is now well into Conti GT territory. At the end of the day, I’ll keep my ‘24 LC500 conv. it’s 3 times less expensive, more comfortable and even tho much slower it delivers a much better throaty NA v8 sound. Great review again!

The DB11 wasn't less expensive. The starting price of the 2019 DB11 Volante was the equivalent of $274,000.The DB12 starts at $265,000. Big global event between then and now caused a lot of inflation

Test drove it yesterday…. Color Xenon Grey was amazing .. seat comfort excellent . Top up I felt claustrophobic… long wide hood made yo bit nervous about distances and curb clearances or a manhole .. heart of the beast an Mercedes AMG twin turbo V8 . Interior failed to impress me for something that is “hand made” and stitched together by “ lil ole ladies “ as the salesman said . Electric power steering makes any car feel generic .. I was also told about the magnetic battery tender charger in the “boot” I guess that gives you an idea how many times you’re expected to drive it.. Back seats a joke .. my 125lbs 16 YO was twisted like a pretzel. Miles you should splurge and go to Red Lobster in the Aston .

You're so lucky dude to get to try these cars. Literally living the dream. I've seen one in Osaka Motor Show, quite frankly the best looking car of the entire show.

Looks lovely but the satnav screen looks a bit small. I mean I don;t want a Tesla style thing but is the Aston interior a bit behind the times... as was the case a few yrs back?

Plastic switches, piano black buttons, no soft-close doors etc. A car that costs 340.000 USD should have all metal buttons and switches and all the many luxuries a car of that price requires. Especially since the V12 is replaced with a V8 now.

Though not a Bentley or such like, I certainly love the interior. I just adore fine quality materials. Reminds me a bit of the kind of luxury a Maybach would offer. As a mere, lowly Toyota driver however, the only thing I might be a bit irritated about is WHAT - NO HOLD FUNCTION , Lol !!! Anyways, Thanks for the video guys.

That speed alarm would be a deal breaker if I could afford to drop over 300k on a grand tourer. There are going to be frustrated Aston owners when they realize the alarm resets each time you start the car. I feel like the type of person capable of spending 300+ for a car is not the type of person that wants persistent alarms telling them the speed limit.

I like the interior design, but that's about the only reason I would get this over the SL55, or whatever the new one is with Mercedes-Benz. Aston Martin without a V12 seems like a strange choice and if I wanted big front engine I would probably buy a Ferrari 812 instead.

manual windscreen on a 300.000+ dollar car is a little out there, there should at least be a lepricon in the trunk to install it for you

Why are you so critical? The horn, for example, "is crass." It's a horn, bro - I want it to sound crass and sharp to get attention. It comes off as a contrived effort to appear wealthy when people are overly critical of obviously beautiful, well-built products. Some criticisms are valid, but most are neurotic.
