I'm glad you're enjoying the Abarth! No car on the planet delivers more smiles per mile. I'm fortunate enough to drive one and love it, they're an absolute joy to drive. It's surprisingly capable on mountain roads, autocross tracks or even on race tracks. They're actually reasonably reliable for a performance car and are totally customizable. There are tons of upgrades available for them.

The devils whip is a fantastic driving road also, it's where the locals go to avoid the tourists and extra traffic on the dragon, love the videos and the channel JR!

Thanks for sharing. Was just looking at setting up a weekend trip for the wife and I and had no idea. I went through Dragons tail in April and the traffic was stupid. So many non driver's just chilling on the other side of the road. Didn't make it fun at all.

I have gone to the dragon every summer for the past 3 years.It feels like home every time i go there with all the speed junkies there. There should be more places like the dragon as it really is special. cherohala skyway is a wicked road too thats close to the dragon.

I got the best deal on a 500 Abarth EVER , I bought it in Jan 2019 , I picked it up in S. Carolina , a 2013 model , with 4300 miles , it was damaged in a light accident, it had a clear SC title I spent a total of 20 hrs in body repairs and now need a rear hatch glass $200 and the driver side door and quarter resprayed to match , perfect interior runs and drive like a new car I’ll have a total of $4000 in it and I have a car with 8300 miles now , I have used very little never seen snow or salted roads, I will be modifying it this year for a track toy , it’s an absolute blast to drive .

Hobartthedolphinboy i have 230hp in my competizione with only 200cell cat, cold air intake and a bigger intercooler and a stage 2 remap. It goes like a rocket in 3 gear in dry it spinns. Its a car that makes me smile everytime i am driving it.!

Definitely a cool car for $3,000!

Just recently made that drive all to way from North Carolina down to Gainesville GA. Beautiful road, hands down the best driving experience on the east coast. Can’t wait to go back with a more nimble car. A Honda S2000 or a Miata would be perfect. Doesn’t take a ton of power to have a blast.

Had to look it up last video as I didn't have a clue what you were saying when you talked about it last video. I live nestled in the valley of a similar road here in Brisbane (Aust) that is the Mt Nebo Rd. It's about 36km (22miles) from my place up the range and around back towards Brissy and it is just as twisty and hazardous although the dragon looks like it has a lot better places to pull off to allow cars pass. Very similar in elevation too. As always mate, cheers for the content.

I've taken all my cars on the Dragon - it's a riot! I actually prefer Moonshiner 28 though - it's a little more picturesque and less technical with sweeping turns. Great car and great channel - keep up the good work!

We have something similar here between Apollo Bay and Forrest, Vic, Australia. It's an awesome fun road when you're left to your own devices but bogged with tourists that are just like that Accord, only never pull over and go even slower but gun it on the straights so you can't overtake

That small car is perfect for a road like that. My big Dodge doesn't really handle sharp turns that well.

Since this is the last year Fiat is bringing the 500 Abarth to the states I had to buy a 2019 500 Cabriolet Abarth to go with my 2012 Sport. Love the cars!

My hometown!!! I drive the Dragon as often as I can. And so, I loved the shots of downtown Maryville. I used to have an apartment like 2 minutes from there.

That looks like fun, we have a similar road in sydney, Sutherland national park, I've destroyed 2 gearboxes in the same car driving it.

Here in Arkansas we have a road just like that called the pig trail and the bikers love it. Every year we have a bike rally called Bikes Blues and BBQ and bikers from all over come to ride the pig trail and all the other fun stuff going on. Its Sept 25-28 and you can find out more at bikesbluesandbbq.org. And its not just for bikers because their is fun family stuff all day.

Looks like a fairly fun road, even if fairly level. Hills add a whole new dimension to the fun. You should try the North Shore of the St. Lawrence River between Quebec City and San Simeon. Just make sure you have ceramic brakes and clutch! I had great fun in a 79 Thunderbird. The old girl loved that kind of road.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen you drive or buy a car that’s a stick shift!

This had me on eBay yesterday, I think I would have the Punto Evo abarth though, there is a tuned one with a td04 running 270bhp on eBay UK ATM, it's quite an engine. Ragazzon exhaust ftw.

These cars are made for roads like these. Lots of fun. You mentioned you've done The Pig Trail a lot, but surprised you haven't done Jasper Disaster which the motorcycle guide book says is very technically challenging. Also, Push Mountain is another fun road. Speed limit is 55mph on both also. A good scenic drive, but with some fun parts is the Peels Ferry run from just east of Springfield MO (near Rogersville) and down to Arkansas. So many great roads in the Ozarks.

Driving my Abarth on the dragon was the best thing ever. I kinda miss it. Also, you're gonna want ear plugs for the drive home. Stock is bad enough, but catless is legitimately awful on long trips, lol

Grew up riding the Dragon - in the early 80's I don't go near it now. Too many bad drivers who kill motorcycles by crossing the double yellow.
