The CT6 is one of the only luxury cars I would want to buy. Theres just something special about it.

I think they should've made the suspension softer, like really soft, removing any trace of sportiness. Make it longer. Then but a nice 6.4L NA V8, nice and meaty. I don't want a lotta power, though, I just want it to be smooootthhhh

I like the looks, its just really hard for me to judge the rest of the car since I havent been in one, and I think it needs a new engine too. It shouldnt sound exactly like a 2011 Cadillac SRX(which isnt a very good sound).

The point I was trying to make is that after 1973, cars were very under powered. There were no cars produced with over 400 horsepower. It was a very depressing time for car enthusiasts.

Something I'll never get is people are alway like "they should do this like Germans or do that like Germans". When American car companies finally do what people want then all you hear is they copied German car companies blah blah... Thats why I love it when American car companies do their own thing. Traditional flagship Cadillacs have always had huge trunks for hiding dead bodies. Don't knock them for sticking to their roots because Cadillac seems to be having an identity crisis these days because they're chasing after the Germans and not doing what they've always been good at doing: making big comfortable land yachts of cars while giving them big trunks and not much rear leg room.

Dude you know nothing about what your talking about. I have driven the car and it is fast and is much more tossable than a S-Class level car. Then you mention the price range....this car starts at 50 something K. The engine does sound good also what are you talking about.....just go buy a Toyota! Also the viewer can notice your seating position on the driver side and what you did on the passenger side by putting the seat all the way back. That way when you sat in the rear you had it closer to your knees. That seat would be know where near you if you had it in the correct position. Your a fraud!

JJ Smith It does a 5.0 second 0-60 which is 2-3 tenths of a second off the S550 and their 1/4 mile times are pretty much identical (all around 13.0-13.4 seconds). Check the facts before calling people out you fucktard. With those minute differences, it shouldn't feel any perceptibly slower unless you're on a drag strip. As much as I like German cars, this is just his German bias coming through.

The problem with this reviewer is that his expectation is now so high that a 400+hp car doesn't feel quick enough for him and the space at the back is only adequate for him. As you may noticed he keeps mentioning his own Benz S550 which is twice the cost of this car with a German twin-turbo V8. Now compare that with a V6 in this car. Definitely, the reviewer is not the target group of this car. I'm sure he is an awesome guy with this much of subscribers, however, sometimes and on occasion like this he needs to come down to Earth so ordinary people can relate to him.

Actually, if you look it up on the Cadillac website, this car is almost 90 grand with the options he has, and the 3L twin turbo 6 starts at 65k without the massaging seats etc, so it is in a way almost competing with the S550 which starts at 95k, so it is understandable that he expects quite a bit. I think you get what you pay for, if you want all the bells and whistles such as the camera rear view mirror and massaging heated+cooled seats in the back with a nice entertainment package, you will have to settle for worse sounding 6 and overall slightly lower quality than the s class which would cost around 120k with those options.

I understand what you are saying, however you overexaggerate it quite a bit. Maybe you are looking at different options, but an S550 with rear seat entertainment plus the rear seat package and a few tech options is way below 150k, closer to 120, so nowhere near the 2x you originally talked about when compared with 88k for the CT6. They don't even compete with each other really, but imho he has a good point, the car in its 90k package is a tiny bit under the expectations of customers in that price range, though definitely has a lot of features, might be a lot of a better deal at 65k "entry" price for the twin turbo

A lexus ls 460 would be the closest 90k rival and that has fewer horses. I driven my friends lexus and I was so impressed with the power. Since I don't drive an s550 I see how good as it is. But I bet if I just got off an s65 and drive the lexus side by side, the lexus will feel sluggish because my expectation has been uplifted by the s65.

Please make sure to go in depth about the sound system in your review! Dying to know a REAL opinion on it and not just facts from engineers.

The Cadillac sounds great in my Opinion

this review was loaded with bias. And this guy found things to complain about no one else did.

That is a nice Audemars Piguet, i have royal oak chronograph and i love it. Good choice in watches and cars, good for you Parker.

But I love the looks and the fact that is a Cadillac

He complained about the trans and rearview camera in his "5 Things We Hate About the CT6" video? but praises them in this one. I'm confused how he really feels.

He also states early in his review that the CT6 "only" has 404 hp and then later states that 404 hp is "a lot". He Can't seem to keep track of what he already said.

Got a CT6 but didn't mention the sound system? Seems like a wasted opportunity.

It is way more agile. Driven both, it's not even a competition. The only >200" sedan that is in the ballpark with this Caddy is the XJ.

how people can just dismiss a car and it's engine based on the subjective sound of its engine is fucking crazy. I have seen so many compares of sports cars and luxury sports cars and that's what they say they want is a "growl" but then once you get to the flagship level, it's a negative thing, no matter how the car performs

Test drove this car just being curious. The ride was smooth and had a sport car like feel that was slightly number to retain that luxury feel. The interior was amazing felt good had a premium appeal to it and everything worked as it should. Way more trunk space than I could use. I definitely wanna be chauffeured in this. I wouldn't compare this to the E class which is a daily drivers car doing well.

Cadillac is on a roll. All things considered they have come a long way and they continue to improve and compete just look at the V series and this CT6. I would gladly take the CT6 any day over the E or S class. Not really a fan of Mercedes downsize me look from the S class to the C class.

I think it is great that the boot is larger than an S-Class sized boot. Despite all that room for 4, there simply isn't enough luggage space in any large luxury car for all of them for a week's vacation if you like to pair your shoes with your outfits.

I agree , The engine noise is to loud for this class of car . Should had a V/8. Compared to the competition the interior is a bit cheap . I still preferred my '80 Fleetwood Brougham and my '81 Sedan de Ville back in the day 😊

i think the trunk space issue is due to the fact that a lot of high end taxi drivers may pick this over a Lincoln or a Mercedes due to the luxury to dollar value so they will need trunk space

It needs to have a big trunk. Havent you ever been in their last flagship? DTS, and before that a fleetwood? The trunk on those things are huge. It cant compete with an E because thats the CTS' job. I think this is a replacement for the STS because the STS was bigger than the CTS and small than everything alse that was bigger. Im going to have to go to an autoshow or dealer to see of the space is as bad as you make it out to be. Im 6'1 so ill see for myself

Well you pretty much shot it down lol! I do hope the forthcoming flagship is better but of course most likely more expensive. If it sucks too then hopefully the Continental will be the best. It's the better looking one,IMO.

I am impressed with the styling of the CT6 but only time will tell about the quality. 5 years down the road what gremlins are Cadillac owners going to have to deal with.
