there is a extremely big difference between motorcycle types and their running cost. but it is generally cheaper than being a car enthusiast

Great video, long time rider and all I ever hear from new riders is budgeting for the Motorcycle. Thank you for this, will share it with everyone that asks about getting into riding. Usually like short form videos that get to the point, but you could do a longer form video going more in depth on each subject next. The $$$ add up quick on riding gear.

Saving up for a Rebel 1100. Want a bike that will last, but also will mod it over time to make it better for touring.

I got my Rebel 1100 in November. I love it so much! But touring? right away the one thing that pisses me off with it is the gas tank. 3.5g is not enough to 'tour' with. and that Seat! Get a GOOD seat! after just one hour, I'm ready to call it a day. Otherwise, I think the 1100 is freaking amazing.

Get dainese gear. My jacket is waterproof with vents and a removeable fleece lining for $300 you dont need multiple jackets. Everything else is pretty accurate tho. You can also get a SHOEI Neotec 2 for 600 not 1k. Also buy used and write an absurdly low number on the bill of sale so you pay less DMV tax.

I had NOTHING before I decided to get a bike. ASIDE from the cost of the bike itself, I'm up to $5,500 in costs, which is not counting the actual cost of the motorcycle itself.

@@Andrew-xo6hl I started with literally nothing . I had to buy a building to put it in, tools to work with, msf course, all the gear from scratch, all new, no hand-me-downs, I’m including insurance as well, and just tons of little Knick knacks to boot. It all adds up.
