Ah Bill, I do sympathize, because I had the very same experience both ways, back in 2016 on a small Seatreck boat, from the Isle of Lewis. I have to agree with you on the amazing experience, visiting Hurta, with a memorable photo of a Bonxie, over looking the ruins below. Once I got off the boat, I was struck by just how steep the terrain was but majestically beautiful at the same time.
