    Nice finds, I’ve only been to Kirkcaldy beach once and was obsessed with the kiln stilts! I found a clay marble a couple of days ago at Castle Street, I never thought much of them , always wished I was finding a Codd, but I’ve become increasingly fond of their smoothness and soft fawn and grey colours.

    Back again after a while out -One of the remote beaches near Campbeltown, took the long way round not the ferry! Dog help you dig for the rare glass! At least there is no chippy where you've seen the seagulls and the CROWCLUXCLAN present... FOLIAGE(foilage - was he from N'Ireland)... 23.00 that piece of pottery is like a shark's fin! 25.00 nice variety Nicole, like the shell! The acoustic guitar music is beautiful, and it really complements the channel and the beach sounds. I hand-fed a crow cat biscuits on the beach the other day. There's a large family of them but only one crow will do this. It knows me but was still very wary about taking food from my hand. In the winter I am dressed in black and always 'pecking at the ground', so it possibly endears me to it a bit, plus I always take food.

    That bottle stopper at the end,with the “T” on it,is it Lignum vitae? It’s my favorite wood,very fun to carve. They used to make bowling balls out of it! My only beach experience in Scotland was Loch Ness,found a few really nice stones there,actually. I also saw a rainbows end right onto the River Clyde,in Glasgow! Got a nice pic of that.

    I think it might be Lignum Vitae! The texture is sort of brown with bits rather than solid black as it is for Vulcanite stoppers :) Oh Loch Ness would be amazing - never been up there!

  • @charlesperez9976

    @charlesperez9976

    Wait,WHAT??? You’ve never been to Loch Ness??? Listen,I know it’s touristy,but it’s incredible,the water is like black tea,the surrounding landscape is like a dream,the wind that blows across you is like a poem,you can read it,as it crosses over you.

  • @charlesperez9976

    @charlesperez9976

    Also,the bottle stopper,you can tell if it’s Lignum vitae if you place some oil on it. That will reveal the tight wood grain. If it’s vulcanite,it will be uniform,no grain.
