Worship is Love and Respect for a deity that's higher than anything in existence. Giving all greater attention to that one deity and not any other deity that's less than that.

Worship is one appearing B4 God thru laws institutions and ordinances he ordained in a particular time. We have 2 kinds of worship Physical worship is one appearing B4 God through physical laws institutions and ordinances Spiritual worship is God bringing u into his presence (not u going to where he says his presence is) thru the spiritual equivalence of the physical laws institutions and ordinances he ordained In a particular time. Praises, solemn songs, are services rendered to God in appreciation.

Just a thought: perhaps a picture of the three dimensions of the tabanacle may help? The outer court,= the dimension of flesh and blood. The Holy place = the dimension of the soul and/or heart, mind, will, emotions, imagination, conscience, thoughts ... The Holy of Holies = The dimension of The Spirit and spirit. Each dimension has different laws that govern it. Each of those (rooms) have a door or veil separating one from the other. We are created in God's image and the three rooms are one. (Trinity?) The Bible declares in several places scriptures like "I ill take away your "heart" (dimension=holy place) of stone and give you a heart of flesh...Or Davids cry, "change my heart o Lord.." Regarding The Holy of Holies= place /room of the Holy Spirit. The OT speaks of people crying to God for a right spirit, a new spirit etc as the knew they were spiritually dead. Jesus speaking John 3 to fulfill the prophetic cry of the OT prophets. "You must be born again" Born again by The Spirit, your spirit is made alive in union with Gods Holy Spirit. (The tabanacle picture Holy of Holies) And in the born again experience a new heart is also given, ie in the room of the Holy place..Once a person is saved he/she can now worship God in Spirit and Truth. " God is Spirit and He seeks those who will Worship Him in spirit. Therefore Worship comes from the dimesion and "room" of the Holy of Holies. Praise comes from the dimension, "room" of the Holy place, ie mind, will emotions etc And thanksgiving comes from the dimension of flesh and blood. In our new birth experience God wants all the doors of the tabanacle open. We are the tabanacle of God. The main barrier to God was the place of the Spirit. Jesus on the cross cried, "It is finished..." and the veil in the temple was torn open, top to bottom. When we are saved we now are in a place as the tabanacle of God with all the interconecting "doors" open to live our daily life practically, in humility and servant hood an aspect of a life of worship to/ in Him. May God's Shalom.🕆 be in you and on you and all those you have on your heart. (Hopefully not too many spelling mistakes and if anyone reads this, the theologians will put things right.

I think, whenever you pray,to jesus, or whoever, that is a form of worship. Like how catholics pray to mother mary and put her on a Peticel as if she was perfect. Even if she truly was sinless, i dont care, she didnt die for my sins, she didnt make that sacrifice for mankind like jesus did. My parents have literal idols and statues of mary and other "holy saints" and they often pray to them. I look at that as a major red flag bc 1, they are dead and cannot hear prayers,2 they are not god but being treated as such,3 why even bother praying to lesser individuals other then our very own GOD THE FATHER?4 catholics alike view her and the saints like they have certain powers, even though everyone of them were sinners just like me and you, therefore, why? Itd be like going to a middle man,to get drugs from a dealer, why not just simply talk to the dealer directly? Same concept with god the father. He has and holds all the power and should receive all the glory, not anyone else.
