Huh, I had completely forgotten she did sports and was at the pokelathon. It looks like she can potentially have a mega Lopunny. Hopefully we have another PWT so we can see if her team has better pokemon. Because it looks like she might have the weakest team of the True Power series.

Here’s an idea to make Whitney stronger: have her Miltank hold a Metronome and use Rollout. The Metronome hold item increases a move’s power by 10% with every consecutive use. GG, everyone. GG.

Disagree with the movement, agree with the character though. Especially since at the end of bw2, he has at least has 24 pokemon to choose from, not including a legendary dragon. All of which are at at least level 75, making him champion level

Anyone from gen 3 and back have solid teams since they've been around more.

You know, in Pokemon Ultra Sun, the reason I used Miltank for online battles was because of how good I heard Whitney's was. So, I thought I would be able to pull off a similar trick to other players by raising one with the hidden ability Scrappy that knows Heal Bell and, of course, Milk Drink.

I don't think he has been done yet so I would lo e seeing Koga's true power. The poison pokemon master has always been a favorite of mine.

I remember a pretty awesome Pokemon Hack, where she was part of the Elite Four one of the coolest moments in the game

Currently in the process of writing a Pokemon fanfic that takes from multiple sources, so I gotta say this video was very informative. :) Really wish Megas were a thing in Gen 8. But, then again that won't be an issue in the fanfic, so she's liable to have a Mega Lop on her team. Hmmm... yeah, that sounds about right. Miltank, Clefable, Blissey and Tauros on top of that. Probably Delcatty for the cuteness. I could see that being her full team when she's not holding back. >=3

That Miltank was the stuff of nightmares. You young'ns are lucky to have fast speed internet to figure stuff out. It took me 4 hours to beat that chick and even then I was down to 1 hp.

Ursaring can use the flame orb since Guts prevents the burn status from halving the pokemons attack.

Might I make a request to see the true power of Natural Harmonia Gropius? He probably has more variety than any other trainer in the franchise.

You know we all wanted to see this one.

I would’ve picked Girafarig since it’s pretty good psychic coverage to take care of Fighting types and Poison types (that take out clefable)

Like others have said before me, I would love to see N. He has incredibly strong pokemon and a large variety to choose from, not to mention one of the Unovan Legendary Dragons depending on the version , so it would be real interesting to see.

I just wonder what level he'll have the dragon at since its level is dependent on what difficulty your playing on, the highest lv being 75 on challenge mode. Even without a dragon, N has 4 different teams to choose from, so he definitely has options

My biggest problem on the whitney fight was the clefairy lol Edit: I think whitney must have a arceus hidden somewhere

this video is pretty old by now, but i'm honestly somewhat shocked to not see girafarig in the final lineup. its stats aren't fantastic but none of them are bad either; it's a reasonably fast mixed attacker with stab psychic type moves for more fighting coverage as well as good overall coverage from psyshock, shadow ball, signal beam, shock wave, and crunch; can serve a variety of roles (screens, stall, set-up/baton pass, or just a solid attacker); and has access to pretty good abilities (though hers has probably the worst). i'm guessing the reasoning is that it's outclassed by clefable, but i feel like it's still better than say, miltank, tauros, or cincinno. personally i'd happily drop ursaring or miltank for it (probably ursaring since miltank is her signature mon), as i feel they get outclassed by tauros and blissey for their main purposes and girafarig is more versatile.

I'd love to see one of my favorite gym leaders Flannery added to this series, if possible!

2:17, not me because I bred myself an allstar team (in diamond) for my first soulsilver playthrough, that included a lucario. The full team was (all lvl 5, I evolved as many Pokémon as a I could before I started the game) lucario, togekiss, piplup, torchic, spiritomb, and beldum. I also had a snorlax, bagon, and ludicolo on standby. Definitely the way to do a playthrough

So at any given point in the fight she'd either be really good at dealing damage OR taking it. If your team is capable of switching tactics on the fly an end-game player could probably still take her on, even without competitive experience. A good challenge that's not too ridiculous.

Also, have you considered doing an "Ideal Type Team"? Something along the lines of "best Pokemon for that gym's type, but based on each of their gimmicks"? Like Whitney liking specifically cute Pokemon etc.

Honestly I've never understood why everyone kept on complaining about Whitney, she had been one of my easier gyms to fight with my Quilava back then since I taught it Dig.

The guy has 24 pokemon to choose from as of the end of BW2. All of which are at least lv 75 and this is not counting the legendary dragon, who he does release at the end of BW2 to that games protagonist

What about Blue's True Power? It may be tricky because his team depends on the starter the player picks, but he has been the champion and gym leader and will be definitely interesting to see you analyse it
