All in all great video! But i'm sorry i don't get why his team is restricted to a single megastone(not that familiar with competitive rules) tbh i would have given the stone to garchomp to make it a mega...

There are a ton of stories of people doing that with Lapris in particular. So much so that the game canon acknowledged it and stated that conservation efforts like that is why you can find them in the wild again.

I don't care what anyone says: when Hoenn's tourney start, I'll be rooting for Wally!

I always liked Wally with Gallade better than Gardevoir, despite Gardevoir being better competitively. And Wally using Mega Gallade, and Mega Gallade's Design overall shot it up in ranking, making it my new Second Favorite Pokemon. Right behind Blaziken, which also got a Mega, and Rayqauaza, which went to third despite it's own Mega being equally, if not more awesome!! Mad respect to Wally who showed us that even illnesses shouldn't keep us back from our dreams. (Note: take this with a grain of salt as some illnesses are more severe than others.)

Holly!!! I honestly didn’t know about the ORAS rematch which gives him those deadly options. Wally is without a doubt one of the strongest trainers we’ve ever met

I'm thinking flannery because she has a team that is extremely weak to water, rock, and ground. Her pokemon can learn solarbeam but they're still at a massive disadvantage IMO.

I don't think it's necessary to get rid of egg moves for these trainers, now that gen 8 introduced the ability to teach a pokemon any of its egg moves simply by leaving in the daycare with another of the same pokemon that knows the move. It takes a bit of fenagling, but if we're talking about a trainer who got his pokemon's levels up into the 80's, I'm sure he'd spend the time to make sure their movesets are also top notch.

Wally is one of the best characters that I've encountered in the Pokemon games, and while I wish that we would have seen him developing in place of our interactions with Brendan/May, his Victory Road battle is a triumph, particularly in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby when the character evolution is clear, just like his feelings, in his body language. Love him, and hope beyond hope that he'll emerge as a champion.

@@anht.nguyen5431 it could probably go either way, but Wally has a chance. Mega Gallade is a very powerful member of his team, and there’s also Garchomp, which speaks for itself. It would certainly be a close match at the very least.

Hoenn is my favorite region and Wally definitely grew on me. I enjoy how he went from such a meek kid to a powerhouse (similar to Ralts when you catch it to Gardevoir/Gallade)

It's actually an Encounter theme. The battle theme for the Battle Mason battles is the regular trainer theme. Very disappointing.

Honestly the only thing he could have changed is ignoring the Gardevior level and adding it to the team but I’m not even sure that’s stronger to what he currently has

I once did a personal tournament with notable in game trainers using their teams against each other, levels items and all. Wally won in the finals (against red) mostly because of the competetive held items he gives his pokemon. Truly the most powerful ai opponent in pokemon (set level battle facilities not included)

Can’t wait for Archie and Maxie! They’re huge roadblocks for everyone and my favourite villains when it comes to aesthetic - aside from Rainbow Rocket of course

Wally is the true protagonist, 3 mega evos possibly 4... The bonds with his pokemon are solid

Awesome video can’t wait to see the next True Power. I’m looking forward for some of trainers that used Z-moves too (I remember Giovanni used a Z-move against me in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon)

Okay, in combination with Wally's Gen6 theme, the fact he is using Roserade makes me root for him for the coming tournament

So the only people to be confirmed stronger in level are Red himself, if I recall possibly Blue (can’t remember), and Barry. But Barry has seen very little action outside gen 4. If not at all. (Does he even appear in the gen 5 tourneys?) And that’s a shame because he was a very unique rival. Never humbled by losing he just adapted. And he never even really got mad with himself until his lack of patience cost him against Team Galactic. His confidence NEVER wavered and was always supportive to a point. All because he wanted to be like his awesome dad Palmer. Who I NEED to see again.

I love how Wally's best team is literally the one he uses at one point ^^ Maxie and Archie would be great picks for a next episode! I lump them together because they have few appearances (the Hoenn games and USUM), and have either the same pokemons or counterparts to one another.

I love watching this series now when i think about how well these True Power teams are gonna do during a possible future tournament 👀

Ho ho, that's some team for Wally!! It's awesome to see how much he has grown as a determined trainer. :)) And it's incredibly diverse too, so he won't really have an apparent weakness here, that I can think of off the top of my head! Some powerful beasts here, and thank you for including Talonflame on his team. That's one of my favorites, and one of my six ultimate team members. 🔥🔥❤☝👊👊

So indeed, Wally, your True Power is your final OR/AS team like I had anticipated! And speaking of the criminal syndicates, Magma and Aqua, their respective bosses Maxie and Archie are next!

Having made my own version of that team, give his Azumarill ice punch for coverage and that thing is an absolute killer. Also, Physical roserade with bullet seed is not something he'd have access to, but that thing can also wreck house (may sound like a bad idea because roserade leans special) technitian makes a bullet seed from a jolly roserade a scary force even in ou tier the rest of his team makes sense since they're up there in power anyway like garchomp, and magnezone, and talonflame even with the nerf but like Roserade and Azumarill can be some surprisingly scary pokemon even in ou if you have good ways of using them. And Mega Gallade with the right coverage is just good anyways

I can't help but feel like the people that wrote Wally into the series simply forgot that he had already leveled his Gardevoir to 57 prior to giving him a Galade. It would have been so much cooler to see him with a mega Gardevoir as a climactic point in his character development imo.

It's interesting as May has 1 Pokemon more than Brendan (the famous Torkoal from one fight). Stil it could be quite an important factor.
