​@@A.--. To be honest, I don't know who Ashraf Ali Tanvi is. Ibn Taymiyya has points of aqidah that are rejected by the majority of scholars, even by the layman. One of his views states that hellfire will end, which is incorrect and against the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. That's why I wouldn't put him alongside Ibn 'Arabi, even though he is a senior scholar. You claim that everyone claims to be under the banner of Ahlus Sunnah. Although that may be true, the sawad al-azam (referring to the scholars, of course) are on the same manhaj and agree with each other. Differences of opinion exist, but not on usul al-din. The fact that different people claim to be of Ahlus Sunnah, and that senior scholars disagree with each other, does not mean one of them isn't right. As I stated, the 'ulema who teach us according to the Quran and Sunnah are the ones under the banner of Ahlus Sunnah. Ibn Taymiyya goes against this, and thus isn't used as a source and is not classified as Ahlus Sunnah by the majority. It's not that deep. May Allah guide us and forgive us for our mistakes and shortcomings.

I think all these scholars no matter how deviant or on what mahaj or aqeedah detail will inshallah go to Jannah. Lets not be like Jews who only stick to their own Rabbi and Tribe and divide and fight against each other. Do you think ibn Taymia aqeedah will go to Jannah, Hell or you dont know? If you don't know then how can you judge?

The majority of barelvie top scholars think the majority of Deobandi too scholars are Kafirs. Barelvie too scholar Ala Hazrat has said Wahabi is a deviant group. Stop playing games with us ya Ustad. Until we all abandon sects and get back to Evidences we will remain divided, confused and closed minded.

Brother get a proper education in Islamic theology before speaking without any basis let alone making baseless uncorroborated statements. A simple study would be highly beneficial. Names or titles of groups are just putting a name over different realities codified upon UsulEdDeen under UsulelFiqh employing the Fiqh the Prophet taught seasoned companions who had taught those who believed and followed after them. Like Abdullah bin Masuud to Alqama , from Alqama to Ibrahim to Hammad to AbiHanifa to AbuYusuf and Muhammad ...to AbiJaafar AtTahawee 321AH (Tahawi Creed) and to AbuMansur AlMaturidi 333AH

@@TheMercifulAndJust no worries I've discussed with many of these types of people, this is just standard for SeekersGuidance and affiliates at this point as I've been following their content for years. They are open in Ash'ari-Maturidi propagation. And likewise we can follow the sound and true Aqeedah from the prophet PBUH to his companions, to their noble students and to theirs, many of their statements of Allah's sifaat and af'aal that were transmitted from Imam Malik, Imam al-Shafi'i, and Imam Ahmad and so on (unlike the Ash'aris who got their usūl from the Khalaf and the philosophy of the Greeks in deriving God's attributes). It's the same methodology that the "wahaabis" emulate yet they aren't called wahaabis. Why? Because everyone knows it's a name used pejoratively for modern day Salafiyyah, yet this "ustadh" didn't have the honesty to say this either. So don't preach to me about proper education. ​@@TheMercifulAndJust you conveniently bypassed the Aqeedah that was transmitted from the salaf, that we learned from Malik, al-Shafi'i, Ahmad, al-Tabari, that all affirm the sifaat and af'aal of God in the way it came without interpretation of how it's done. All you did was appeal to the Aqeedah of the Khalaf which delved into tahrif and ta'weel

Shaykh, todays times are when people must know how "Wahabism" is deviant. You should not keep it to yourself or scholars fearing sectarianism. Let people know path of Ahlus Sunnah is the way to follow.

The Ashari fell off the cliff when they rejected Causality on a false understanding of the Will of God. Them with Imam Ghazali derailed the Muslims and pushed the ummah back 500yrs.

We are not teh cause of anything Allah is the cause however Allah made this world a world of means and so we are given means and we do things but at the end of the day the true cause is Allah because we can’t do anything unless Allah allows us to do so

Nothing can be independent of God or His Will or Power or Knowledge... to even imagine it even for the twinkling of an eye renders that person outside the pale of Islam. Revise Imam atTahawi creed and correct any errant ideas with Knowledge
