I think it's a VERY Lil Nas move to do a hard pivot into a Christ figure and it's on brand for him and iconic. Regardless of that I think it's a great music video (except for the bad cgi) and the new song is great. I'm glad he's embracing his sexuality and incorporating it into his music more.

As a Christian, I think it's incredibly offensive and a mockery. I don't get why non-Christians are trying to say otherwise... how are you going to say whether it's offensive or not to OUR religion, you know? I don't hate the guy at all, I'm praying for bro and I'm very sorry he experienced hateful Christians growing up. I understand why a lot of people may dislike/hate us for stuff like that, but I wish people would know that not everyone who claims to be a Christian truly follows Jesus or reflects who He is.
