Honestly I would’ve put sonic wave 98% at #1. The difficulty jump from bloodbath to sonic wave would’ve been astronomical for lack of a better word, something we wouldn’t ever see again till slaughterhouse was verified lol but regardless great video bro I don’t even play gd anymore but these videos are still really interesting, looking forward to more!

About bloodlust, Npesta died on 98% two times, on the last jump. I think it's worse than die on last ship part.

Thats true, but at the time, bloodlust was top 1, when npesta beat it, it was out of the top 1. So yes, npesta's fail is worse, but looking at placement at that time, knobbelboy's fail was worse

Had he survived just a few seconds longer, Sonic Wave would have been completely untouchable and take the community countless months to catch up. Mefewes Sonic Wave fail is still worse than any of them I'd say. It was a LEGENDARY top 1 demon that was about to be beaten by an underdog out of nowhere. 98% and never completing it after that is devastating.

There has been some suspicion around conix and vsc for a wile, since he Did hack the level and passed it as legit before he got this fail. So it may as well could be illegitimate. I do still think diamonds death is worse though, even if he beat it a day after.

I was one of the few ppl on conix’s stream, and when I clicked on this video I was like ‘heck yeah imma put on conix’s fail on vsc in this video’s comments’ but u already did it, it proves that u check on the latest details for ur amazing vids

Just wanted to say, great vid! but im surprised that there isnt curseds 96% on slaughterhouse, which was the last jump.

This may be way too long ago, but aeonair was racing deadly clubstep with riot to be the first victor. Aeon had an unlucky 2 attempt practice run, where he died to the first triple spike. That practice run happened a full 6 months before riot became first victor of deadly clubstep. I thought it was worth mentioning tho.

I can watch every sad movie in existence without crying, but Mefewe's 98% breaks my heart every time

I might be biased because I was a big fan of his back in the day, but I’ll always defend the opinion that Mefewe’s fail is the worst in the game’s history. He started his quest as an unknown whose hardest was Supersonic, and after he got 98%, it took seven months for anybody to actually catch up with him (keep in mind Riot was trying to beat it too). You never see world records last that long in any level anymore. Also, he never actually beat it, and after Sunix went on to verify SW, Mefewe was slowly forgotten about over time to the point where he’s barely remembered nowadays.

Imo cursed's death at last jump on sh should be at least honorable mention bcs it was top 1 at the time and it is literally last spot you can die to in it

One of my friends got 90 on Tartarus because of a void click, it was also on 144hz making it a world record percentage on the level for that hz, it was also a jump from sonic wave, his OBS was also broken for no reason and barely recorded and only recorded at like 360p for some reason, it would’ve been only his 3rd extreme demon because sonic wave was its self a jump from Sakupen hell. After all this he got demotivated and gave up and even quit the game for a few months, also he’s back now and still kinda good at the game but it’ll be a while till he gets back to his peak skill.

@@quinu845 literally not, all of my friends have been in many calls of him playing the level while he had slowly been getting better runs and farther from 0, I think he did 24-100 (not sure but seems reasonable due to the progress from 0), he also has proof of having enough skill to at minimum get at least list percentage (this proof being a Nov 2021 clip he uploaded a week ago from his old computer hard drive (which he still has and could show more including some Tartarus runs) of slaughterhouse 26-59), and my last point that I feel people overlook because they ignore something that I think about a lot when discussing the legitimacy of this, why wouldn’t he just beat it instead of dying and giving up? If it had been illegitimate, why wouldn’t he just lie and say he finally had beaten it a few days later or something instead of quitting the game entirely for a few months?

New worst fails are doggie/zoink/wpopoff’s acheron 97, onealphahelix’s acheron 97x4, trick’s acheron 98, trick and vision’s silent clubstep 78, doggie also had 88 on vsc but he beat it an hour later, and onealphahelix also had a 99 fail on bloodbath, evw 99 on heartbeat, surv (and many many others) 98 on tartarus.

contrary to the thumbnail, the last jump in slaughterhouse isnt at 99, but at 95, but it is theoretically possible to die at 99, since the wave blocks above have no d blocks

I do think that vsc is harder than the third variant.

It's basically impossible to compare the two. The best players would probably take longer with TTV, but it's basically luck based, so its not really comparable. Also because people have different skill sets.

This will get buried but it is actually a misunderstanding that Dils quit AoD soley because he died at 98 a few times. The actual reason was that he was going to University and didn't have time to grind the level, as he was playing it for multiple hours a day.
