What is the Tidal Gardens Method?

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

I don't love the concept of branding methods, but it is a good exercise to really try and pin down what makes Tidal Gardens work. This video is an exploration of the top ten principles that we live by.

My phone notification truncated the title of this video to "What is the Tidal Gardens Meth..." and I just see Than sitting there in a lab coat with blue hues all over. This coral farm is all a ruse. It's clear now he's got a Gus Fring-esque basement where the real action happens.

Always great advice and I appreciate reminding people that 5,000+ gallon commercial systems don't operate like our tanks. It isn't said enough.

Sometimes individual tanks in those connected systems behave differently than one another even.

You could do 24/7 livestreams on the show tanks! I think that would be interesting, and coming back every couple of days, or weeks, would be very interesting to see the growth and changes. It's worth a shot! Love everything else you said!

I've been following him since he started his KZread channel, I think it's been like 13 years, and I've seen how his business has grown. It's always interesting how he explains things, although I've already heard some of them in other places and I've learned a lot from him, keep going.👍👍👍

Im on almost 2 years no water change, 3 times a year i get an oceamo ms test for 65$ and correct from there. Unless there is an issue from the water test would be the only reason I would do a water change at this point. It works and works well once you realize fish and coral like stability almost as much as they like the parameters to be within that happy range

Moonshine type methods may not be for everyone, but pretty hard to deny at this point that it works, there are large scale operation, tanks bigger than what tian has by 10s of thousands of gallons, applying this method with success. Doesnt mean you never do water changes, means u do them when needed, and the cost savings of less water changes shouldnt be neglected

Than, I would love to see a video where you go through and look at some packaged consumer aquarium options and apply your thought process/method to them. Not necessarily rating them, but giving us the questions that would go through your head in terms of reliability, stability, ease of maitenance, etc. Just an idea - feel free to take it or leave it!

You never complain about good purchases…only bad ones. If we spend $300 on pump…because the $600 one is too expensive….but really you needed the $600 one you now bought a $600 pump for $900.
