I have four brain aneurysms two of which were clipped by pterional craniotomy. The other two on the other side of my brain are being closely monitored. The surgery was quite invasive and I thank my lucky star's it was a complete success. Recovery takes time and everyone is different. I did well and didn't develop any infection, on the other hand cognitively it took me about six months before I felt like my old self again.

After surgery did you recognise your family members ❓

@@harshinidappuri9091 yes, I recognized everyone although my balance was off a bit for a while and I dealt with what I called brain overload. I just couldn't focus on more than one thing or multitask or I would become extremely confused. During the first three month's after surgery I felt completely exhausted but, my neurosurgeon explained that was completely normal. I hope this helped...

I don’t get any medicine other than Tylenol and ibuprofen, nothing works for the pain, that only thing that I do is deep pause breathing and ice on forehead and neck it helps a little.
