Hi Sam, I thought your video was awesome I'm suffering from this painful condition I've tried every exercise for this condition and nearly 2year on its still the same. I've bought special trainers shoes which help a little when walking. Thanks for your video

I just came across you from merry old Canada (grew up in England however) this morning as I was researching glute and hip muscles and THANK YOU! You make anatomy fun, extremely understandable and I've been sharing your page on my IG and FB pages. Thank you for doing the videos. If I'd have had teachers like you when I was young, I'd be so darned smart lol!!

Great explaination man .. video was very informative When i do sprints ... And i roll my fascia the next day l, i can feel the pain when i rolling .. but when i get up in the morning ... I dont get the pain, According to the video getting up with pain in your arc is a easy sign of plantar fasciitis.. Sonce i dont get up with pain does that mean i have very mild symptoms of it ?

Sam, is it possible to have plantar aponeurosis without any pain, just stiffness in the sole of the foot?

Plantar fasciitis is very common. Are there other points of fascia irritation that are common or perhaps misunderstood as a tendonitis?

How much do modern shoes affect foot machanics? Toe flexion is near impossible in some rigidly soled shoes and although the foot is potentially mobile how is encasing the foot in a rigid shoe going to affect its ability to be mobile? Are cheap rigid shoes going to affect the feet just like a cast or paralysis affects a limb, with a potential loss of range of movement? If the fascia already has poor blood supply do heavy shoes reduce the blood supply even more?

Could a calcaneal spur lead to plantar fasciitis? Or is it the other way around?

If it's more like a tendon, there would be tendon sheath for containing lubricant. Yes, that's believable to me
