That is a great question, they look similar enough that it could be the case, but I haven't seen any direct evidence of this. For example the name Zephaniah in the Greek translation of the bible is quite different from the Greek word Stephanos. Maybe there is still a link? If so the meaning of Zephaniah is " hidden, concealed and encrypted by God"
