Why is the topic what is the holy spirit when you say he's a person. Why didn't you say who? I love how clear and understanding your teachings are.

The Calvary church is confused between the "Comforter" and the "Holy Spirit". The verse that does make the "Comforter" the "Holy Spirit" is italicized which indicates interpreted as such but not a fact.

Please amend the title of this VIDEO. The correct title is "WHO IS the HOLY SPIRIT " and not "WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT" because HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD LIKE GOD the FATHER , and GOD THE Son. He is the SPIRIT OF FATHER and of Son .He is a Person and has a personally and emotions , otherwise the Bible will never warn us to never grief the HOly Spirit .The Bible teach us also to have a Communion with Holy Spirit... I guess that the title was given by ignorance . Shalom

Guys let me share a miracle that happen few weeks ago. One night I picked up a Muslim believer ( I work as UBER driver ) . Straight from the beginning he asked me if I'm religious and what I believe in. Then I said to him that I'm Orthodox Christian and that I believe in Jesus Christ. Then he started playing around with questions, trying to attack my belive and faith. Then he asked me the question - What do you think of the Trinity and do you belive in it ? Then I said that I belive and this is a symbiotic relationship between the Father, Jesus, the holy spirit within the father ( sorry but is hard to explain this...lol). Then he said this isnt true and God is one not three. And this when the miracle happened. Short after that as I was driving I stopped at red light in Angel area London UK. as we where standing at the traffic light a beger jumped in front of the car and he started juggling three balls for a minute after which he asked for money. When that happened I turn around to the rider and asked him wasn't that a conformation,synchronicity a message from God. He did. All he said I need to read their holy book. God bless every one.

The Holy Spirit is Christ own Spirit not someone who represents him. When the Bible says Spirit of Truth Who does the Spirit belongs to? and who is the Truth?

Cessationism does not deny the power and work of the Holy Spirit. It states that some of the gifts have ceased working like in the NT. I am not a cessationist by the way, but I know people who are.

I agree with you from what I have read and understand from what they have said.

The Title should be" who is the Holy Spirit, not what is the Holy Spirit".

If it was the Holy Spirit who hovered over the surface of the void and waste earth at the time of creation , where were God the Father and Lord Jesus , the Son of God at that time ? Didn't John 1:1-3 only mention two Supreme Beings at the creation - The God the Father and the Word of God who then became the Lord Jesus Christ ? Why Holy Spirit was not mentioned there if Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity ? Isn't the Holy Spirit mentioned as the Spirit of God and Spirit of Christ as both are the only Supreme Spirit Beings who worked together harmoniously in creating all things in the whole universe ?

If you are saying the Holy Spirit is a person please Sir tell or show me scripture where God the Holy Spirit is in the express image of the Father and the Son and has a form like them as well if He’s Co-equal with them? 😁 and what is His name? Because Holy Spirit is not a name it only describes what type of Spirit it is

Cessation doesn't mean denial of Holy Spirit!

One more question Sir,Is the Holy Spirit related to God like the Son is? For example Jesus is related to God in that He is his Son, So how is the Holy Spirit related to God? Keep in mind Father and Son denotes a Family which exists in Heaven (Ephesians 3:14-15)

Stoney Eubanks Basically the Trinity doctrine teaches there’s a third divine being called God the Holy Spirit(which is not a biblical term) one who is equal with the Father and the Son which really can’t be supported by the Bible because Holy Spirit is not a actual name, Holy describes what type of spirit it is which belongs to God that’s why it’s called the Holy Spirit of God. Also this so called third divine being is excluded from John 1:1 John 3:16 John 10:30 John 17:1-3 many other verses and why is this so, if he’s suppose to be Co-equal

I had no idea anyone is scared of Holy Spirit.

Rapture is not in the Bible. By that I mean the 7 year rapture that is commonly taught... Otherwise I am enjoying your sermon series.

Yes but in Galatians Paul talks about it I’m pretty sure Galatians 2 but it’s the capturing up when Jesus calls us then the 7 years of tribulation. And a lot of other things that are not in the Bible that’s down right stated but inferred just like the Rapture or catching up

You said you don't understand the Trinity. Think of it as musical chords there's three 7 piano keys that make up a chord. now play the chord. That's the Trinity.

Who is the Holy Spirit? But the first big question is WHO IS INSIDE JESUS ? Well, we are absolutely sure that THE FATHER IS INSIDE JESUS AND LEADS HIM VERY TIGHTLY when speaking and acting : (1) "Truly, truly I say to you, THE SON IS NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING of himself,45 but ONLY WHAT HE SEES THE FATHER DOING; for whatever things that One does, THESE THINGS ALSO THE SON DOES LIKEWISE. (2) "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will find out that I am he, and OF MYSELF I DO NOTHING, but rather EXACTLY AS THE FATHER HAS TAUGHT ME, THOSE THINGS I SPEAK. 29And the one who sent me IS CONTINUALLY WITH ME. HE HAS NOT LEFT ME ALONE, because I always do the things pleasing to him." (3) "49 FOR I FROM MYSELF HAVE NOT SPOKEN; rather, the Father who sent me, he has given me COMMANDMENT, WHAT I SHOULD SAY, and HOW I SHOULD SPEAK. 50And I know, that his commandment means eternal life. Therefore, WHAT THINGS I SPEAK, JUST AS THE FATHER HAS SAID THEM TO ME, I SPEAK THEM JUST SO." (4) "The statements which I say to you I do NOT SPEAK FROM MYSELF, BUT THE FATHER ABIDING IN ME IS DOING HIS WORKS." .......... Could Jesus further have a SECOND LEADER, "the Lord giver of life" - to lead Him - even if only a few times? Of course THERE IS NO PLACE LEFT FOR THAT: from the above verses we see that Jesus IS LED VERY CLOSELY ("exactly") by the Father, who is "continually" "abiding" in Him. That no one else is there is also implicitly stated : "...He has not left me ALONE..." i.e. you just have the Father with the Son, period. But how can one explain the next verse, Jesus being filled and led by the Holy Spirit? (5) "FILLED with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from Jordan and was LED BY THE SPIRIT into the wilderness."..... Well, with the verses (1)-(4) Jesus reveals that the HOLY SPIRIT inside Him IS THE FATHER. This directly implies that the Father must be a spirit. Yes, you can find confirmation that the Father is a spirit: "God is a spirit". Not only in Jesus, exactly the same kind of relief - by the Father - when speaking - also occurs inside the apostles: "because it is not ye that will speak, but the SPIRIT OF YOUR FATHER...". However, you can notice there that the term "SPIRIT" is used instead. Well, confusion arises because Jesus has the "Father who is a spirit" and calls Him sometimes "FATHER" (Holy) (generally when Himself is concerned), sometimes "SPIRIT" (Holy, of God, of the Father...) when other people are concerned (see the apostles above). But they are just TWO NAMES for the SAME ONE SPIRIT: THE FATHER. No further "omnipotent spirit Lord giver of life" exists: it's just an invention. The Holy Spirit is thus the almighty God: for example the Devil could be INSIDE you, trying - UNNOTICED as much as possible - to steer your mind and to convince you do something. Well, God is no less, He is able to perform that action too! "The HOLY SPIRIT dwelling in you" simply means that God is inside you, trying to lead you. Thus, "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" is SYNONYM of "blasphemy against the Father". No one has been FORGOTTEN there: just TWO blasphemies are possible, one against the Father and one against the Son! This also means that when Jesus was baptized, simply the Holy Spirit - i.e. the Father who is a spirit - SAID "...you are my beloved Son...". Just the Father and the Son were there, TWO ! No one else exists, this is stated by Jesus: "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me". The Father is now ONLY ACTIVE in His "Spirit form" (see for example the Holy Spirit and Mary's pregnancy), but He also existed in His "normal form" (see "the Father" in the baptismal formula). God existed in that "normal form" ONLY "...before the existence of the world" (Jn. 17:5,24). Therefore "Righteous Father, the world HAS NOT KNOWN you..."; this is also why "No one has ever seen God..." and why Jesus inherited the kingdom of God "The Father loves the Son and has given him all things into his hand." . Only God who dwells in that remote past makes God's decisions, He is the SOURCE of the "Spirit of God". The Spirit of God proceeds from the Father dwelling in that past and acts here. But He is just a God's ATTRIBUTE, not someone else. God is thus only made by the Father and the Son.

The Holy Spirit is NOT a person, it is the essence or power of God the Father, read Acts 10:44 & ask yourself how could a person, one person, fall on all them which were there? And if you say He was a huge person then how does anyone so huge dwell in each one of us, blessed?

How can he fall on all of them? Because He is God... how can God know every man's thought at the same time?...and create the universe? and be eternal? HE IS OMNIPOTENT. If your only claim that The Holy Spirit is not a person is that verse, and you try to understand how that logically happened, than you probably misunderstand the whole concept of a God. The Holy Spirit is always referred to with a pronoun. And why is that even a discussion? (Matthew 28:19) "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

The false teaching of the trinity dogma is the reason why the holy Spirit doesn't come over the false teachers and their followers. Whoever tries to lock up the holy Spirit of God within false and unreasonable teachings and dogmas, gets locked up therein by the very same and surely enters not the Kingdom of the Spirit of God and his firstborn from the dead, Christ Jesus from Nazareth - and will be left to confusion and silliness. 🍷📜🗿⏳
