I was abducted when I was 19. I was beyond terrified…. until I prayed, and I felt the power, peace, and confidence, of the Holy Spirit within me! This power, to my astonishment, had overwhelming love for this young man.. my abductor. It was the most frightening experience…until that point where the power of Holy Spirit was consuming within me. I was just telling the Lord that, “I know the power of Your Holy Spirit, and I need it now too.” Thank you Skip for your teachings and for allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you!

Loved this teaching! I had written out my salvation testimony a couple days ago, and as I listened, Holy Spirit was like, "See Melissa, I pull back the veil..." So much more, but, thank you Skip for answering a question I've had about His Spirit "upon" us. He IS and He is good! My testimony: a picture of His Spirit, with me & in me. And I pray ALWAYS be upon me, to testify of His Faithfulness. My Testimony is of His Great Grace, painted on the canvas of my life. He used my abortion at the age of 17, to bring me into His Kingdom, when I was 21yrs old. I'd just left my newborn son's room. Id been watching him sleep, admiring the sanctity of his little life, which brought me to think about the son I'd aborted, as did my entire pregnancy. Tears welled up, along with overwhelming grief & guilt. I left the room & looking to not be reminded of the pain and guilt, I began flipping through channels. On my knees, before the tv, no remote... It is 1988. I came across the 700 club and began listening. I had watched before, and liked all the "God stories". I was not looking for Him. In fact, I'd been running from Him, ever since the "deal" I'd made with Him. The deal: I would never do "that" again, and please don't send me to hell... This came to me, the evening of the abortion. Because, as I'd left Planned Parenthood, with my boyfriend, walking to the car, I was made spiritually & acutely aware, of WHAT I had just done. It was like the veil was pulled back; suddenly hearing the baby's screams of pain and torment as he was pulled out of my womb, limb by limb... And it was done. Too late to change my mind. I'd just killed my own child. And there was nothing I could do about it. It didn't help that Planned Parenthood made me wait until I was +12 wks along, to make sure the 'mass of tissue' was big enough. That evening, the grief over what I'd done & terror of the consequences at hand...I was going to hell. I made my bargain with God (1984). Now (1988), as I watched the 700 Club, Sheila Walsh began speaking about, you guessed it, abortion. I couldn't listen. I reached up to turn the channel and as my fingers were about to take & twist the nob, Sheila points straight at the screen, and as if looking right into my eyes, says, "If you're about to change that channel, don't. God has something He wants to tell you. That He loves you & there is forgiveness in His Son..." I didn't change the channel, I watched, listened, and bawling my face off, I was born again, by His Spirit. Forgiven, washed by His Blood. Released from all guilt. In a pico-second, His grace flooded over all the grief & guilt. He set me free from the sentence of death & gave me Life. Undeserved Life. There IS forgiveness through the Blood of the Lamb. In this cup is the New Covenant, in His Blood, poured out for you, for me, for many. During my full term pregnancy, was the sorrow that led me to repentance. For example, feeling my son move for the first time, it was the same week as I'd first felt my aborted son move (unknowingly at the time). It was the same week Planned Parenthood scheduled the abortion. Throughout my pregnancy, I became increasingly sorrowful, as God intended... Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7: 9b-10 Jesus paid the price of death for my sin and set me free. He stands at the door of your heart ❤️, waiting for you to invite Him in. To set YOU free of whatever it is that has lied to your heart. 1973 Roe v. Wade decision has lied to women. We may have autonomy over our own bodies, but that Life within you is not your body to take. It is someone else's DNA entirely. It's not your DNA, not your body. It is murder. As the satanic temple fights for their so-called freedom to murder an innocent unborn child in their religion, be different, make a difference. Turn away from the world, turn to Jesus. Shine His Light. Darkness cannot consume Light, but ahhh, watch how The Light Destroys the darkness.

Thank you Lord for Putting Pastor Skip into my life. I love his humor, deep understanding and awesome analogies.

I just want to say that the Bible tells us that different people will have different gifts. That includes the speaking of the tongues. Not every one will have speaking of the tongues, as you are teaching. So, if you do not speak in tongues. Do not feel bad about it. Because you have other gifts. If you accept Jesus as your savior. That God put all things under Jesus feet. Except God himself. That God is The One and Only God. The deity of God Jesus in the holy Spirit are one. Gifts will show in you. The world will of course, try to prevent you from using them. Use them anyway. You may not even realize what your gifts are because you may be just doing it so naturally everyday. That you can't even see it's a gift. We have many gifts in each individual..

That's right!! There's a difference between being indwelled /sealed with the Holy Spirit and being filled with the Spirit. Being filled isn't constant like the former and can mean tongues or just speaking boldly in plain language as the Spirit determines how it uses you. Nobody seems to talk about the fact that the majority of times that tongues were used were with those that didn't speak the language of the person the Holy Spirit was communicating through. But, when we first believe and are saved we are given the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and He will never leave or forsake us.

So he was reading from the king James word for word until he got to Acts 2:4 which reads" And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." However he leaves out speak with other tongues. He changes it to spoke the word of God with boldness. He wants us to accept all the Word as truth but leaves out an event that occurred. Not sure how that makes me feel about his teaching.

Why does he avoid the word tongues, when the Bible clearly states it? Thats why many thought they were drunk! The filling of this Spirit caused them to speak in an unknown tongue, only identified by those observing who heard their own language. I could never fake or imitate this! Yet, I have received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of tongues and continue to be filled as I stir up the Spirit through praise and yielding.

Jazmin Castro 10/11/18: This is my constant prayer ( praying for lost loved ones). Your request has got to be the most asked among christians. We feel deep in our spirit that the LORD’s return is very near and that our loved ones are just lallygagging around as the clock is ticking by. We know WHAT is in store for those LEFT BEHIND and we do not wish that on anyone but they seem not to even notice the lateness of the hour while we worry our heads off & hearts out. Yes, our LORD’s return is VERY VERY near.....see you in the air, Sister Jazmin. I will be praying DAILY.

Was Billy Graham teaching sound? This Speaker speak of him always...seem He really endorse his sermons, his teachings like sinners prayer......I am abit suspicious and doubtful of his THEOLOGY

I notice skip vacillates between Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost. Jesus never mentions "Holy Ghost". Is this just a remnant from his King James Days? I feel this can be confusing and misleading to new Christians.

@@thorodinson9782 I understand to you and many others. but When new Christians hear Holy Ghost and you try to get them to have a personal relationship with the 3rd person of the trinity, "For a New Christian" it can be confusing when you want them to talk to and be in a relationship with a "Holy Ghost".
