Actually in India only upper middle class people can afford a psychologist. Very few people continue therapy for more than 2 months. They only continue only if they are suffering from a serious issue and have money. Its not what we see in the american web series where parents willingly send their kids for therapy sessions for a year😂

You're right , I have problem of procastination then I go to psychologist and in 4-5 sessoin I get back on track then I decided to end session although she is refusing , she is saying you may again loose track bcz problem is not solved completely. But still I decided to end because I m student I have not much income to continue it.

Hiee. I am 29 yo Msc(Chem) PG from Maharashtra. Have done this in 2017, but I got married early..and due to some personal reasons I quit studying. Now after so long, I do feel to resume my studies. I secured 80% in my 12th, graduation and PG and now psychology is what I’m observing best for me! I’m a ployglot and a Xenophile side by side but have always been interested in thinking brain functions..huge believer of Sir Carl Jung, can afford to go even out of country to proceed further. I just wanna know if after such a long leap, can I start with this diverse subject.? See.. I’ve ground checked almost all the necessary details but still wanted to cross check! You will love to read about human mind. But you cant expect a good paycheck right after graduation in this subject. Have to work under psychiatrist/ psychologist for experience initially. That's it in a nutshell.

It depends where you are from, for example I am from kolkata so the best option here is Calcutta university. Then you jave delhi university and Christ university in Bangalore and other options too

@@sharma8419 being a good professor with PhD takes time may be alot.. my uncle is a professor too.. but the procedure takes more than usual.. If you are soo in into that stuff then go for it... But let me tell your 5.5 years of mbbs and 2 years of MD will pay you best rather than 7 years of full graduation and 4 years of PhD and including stuff( trust me it's only on paper that it is of 2 year but it take more time than) usual)

You can pursue BA/ BSc in Liberal Arts from an institution which gives independence to pursue your choices from their pool of majors and minors, there are many such universities providing Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology.

Hey! I was a 10th grader too. Just gave my boards. According to my research, it is not necessary to have psychology background in 11th and 12th. I am also willing to pursue psychology. You can opt for the course with any stream background. But I am taking humanities with psychology. You could also do it through pcb and pcm also as you would have to do ba or BSc and then the masters. So it does not matter which stream you opted for. Many btech students had changed their paths towards psychology. But I think that it would be easy to understand through humanities or biology. But student of any stream is eligible to continue psychology.

@@Nobodyknows1906 Actually there is nothing special to describe whole process, it's process is same like other courses...!!!😊 If you have enough score in 12th you will get seat through merit quota if you don't have enough you can get through management quota 😅🙌 Nb: from my experience bsc psychology is easy for the students from science background as it has one subject called Physiology...!!! As in our class it's (only physiology) somewhat difficult for students from other streams...!!! Any way not that difficult tho😊🙌 Bsc Psychology is science based and BA Psychology is arts based You can choose according to your preference🙂🙂🙂
