I have to say, though I am much older (58), you have inspired me to get more out of my workouts. I have my own home gym in my basement which is mostly free weights but it kicks my ass and I push myself each and everyday. Not sure I use an approved training method as my cycle is 4 days with one day off then repeat (legs, arms, chest then back) plus cardio and Abs every other day. I look forward to leg days because it hurts soooo good. Thanks for your inspiration and to Dave for bringing us your videos!!

Awesome workout Jay, and keeping those basic moves in the cycle (squats, deads, and lunges) are so good for stretching the legs. When I was younger, I rarely did squats, only leg presses. Now that I'm older, I've been addicted to doing squats because I realize how much stronger and more flexible my hams, glutes, lower back, and core are. Also, it makes me so much stronger on the deadlifts, leg curls, and extensions. I do prefer to have at least 3 meals in, preferably 4, with a light pre-workout meal before I train legs, so that usually means legs are done in the evenings or early afternoons when possible. I feel ya, we are coming out of the quarantine cloud, I declare it lol. Kill it!!

Going to drop some fat after I hit 200, maybe 15-20 pounds of fat. I remember 220 at 12-15% BF felt heavy on a 5' 8" frame, so want to trim as I grow. @@medicone7019 right on broksi 👍👍💪🤣 I used to work at a super labor job on my feet all day, finally quit that chit and work online now, thank god hahaha but back when I was working I used to tailor my workouts and still follow them today I only worked legs once a week (I know that flys in the face of volume trainers, I used to be one myself) but here’s my leg routine when my legs were super ripped thick and strong Friday or if sore Saturday (could be any day you like tho) Leg extensions 1 set of 12 reps medium weight warm up 1 set of 8 reps warm up not to failure 1 set of 8 reps warm up 1 set of 6-8 reps slow negative reps count 4 seconds on negative reps Break for 3-5 mins Leg press 1 set of 8 reps not to failure 1 set of 6- 8 reps 4 second negative reps to failure (No squats, I don’t squat because most racks are taken up anyway and you can’t go to failure really safely with squats, I don’t do them anymore anyway or back then really) Leg curl machine 1 set of 8 reps not to failure 1 set of 6- 8 reps 4 second negative reps to failure Inner thigh machine (closing legs or pussy tightner Peeeps call it hahahaha) 1 set of 10 reps not to failure 1 set of 8 reps just get a pump Stiff leg deadlift (keep back arched) be stiff and strong 1 set of 8 reps not to failure 1 set of 6- 8 reps 4 second negative reps to failure Calf raise machine 1x 12 reps medium weight 1 set of 8 reps more weight 1 set of 6 reps 4 second negatives Rest 30 seconds take weight off and do 3 reps slow Take weight off again and do 3 reps slow count to 4 Stretch a little and done Takes me about 50 - 60 mins tops Most other workers are only 45 mins So my routine would be Monday chest and Abs Tuesday back Wednesday off or Light cardio walking for 20-30 mins etc nothing crazy just for recovery and stretching Thursday biceps triceps forearms abs For abs nothing crazy either Crunches 3 sets of 15,10, 8 reps last set go slow on negative reps and crunch hard Reverse crunches 2 x 10, 8 reps last set slow negative reps count to 3 on negative portion That’s it don’t need to go craxy on abs either, you can eat less carbs later after a bulk to see abs More ab work or a zillion exercises isn’t going to carve that six pack bro, when I had my six pack I only worked abs Twice a week, abs get worked with back and legs anyway, I mean they get a string workout during these body parts, many people don’t know that Friday legs calves or if sore Saturday HAve fun bro 💪💪🤣 hit me up if you want my other body part exercises also You don’t want to Be dead ass tired when you leave the gym, always leave strong 💪 save marathon workouts for the girls hahhahaha you can join some Zumba or Jane Fonda classes if you want endurance hahahahah
