Todos hablan siempre de estos lugares y no conocen uno de los más hermosos barrios de Buenos Aires:Villa Devoto que aunque para vos sería lejano o alejado vale la pena recorrer junto a Villa del Parque pegado al mismo te los recomiendo

Moving into Belgrano was one of my best decisions. I saw a few apartments in Palermo but the apartments were so small and old - my apartment has tons of windows and was newly refurbished. Just wish they would finish the maintenance on Line D

Great video! I've visited Argentina four times, twice in 2023. I plan on moving to BA when I retire in 2025 and to live in Recoleta. I visited Argentina in both summer and winter, theirs not mine, and have decided that Argentine winters are too cold for me. So, I only plan on living in BA from October to April yearly. I'm concerned that Argentine border petrol will ask to see my return ticket and will not let me in the country when they discover that my return flight is 6 months in the future. Also, if I make the trek to Colonia three months into my stay to avoid a fine, will Argentina border petrol let me back in the country after seeing that I lived in BA for three months and returned after only a day or two in Uruguay.

We are retired and traveling very slowly between Mexico and Argentina, in search of our favorite cool weather retirement city. We hope to visit BA and Bariloche. But, we are clueless about BA neighborhoods. We speak Spanish, we are up early and at home by 6pm-8pm. We have lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. In South America we so far have only been to Bogota. We are looking for a quiet, safe middle class neighborhood, with middle class prices. We hope to be in BA for at least a few months. Suggestions ? Thx

Hey there! So a few of the neighborhoods that I talked about in the video are nice quiet, residential neighborhoods. Belgrano is very residential, there are a lot of families who choose to live there, there are a lot of nice parks and a few movie theaters and shopping malls so they have family activities. One that I didn't talk about that is also quiet and residential is Caballito which is a bit more towards the center of the city. Villa Urquiza is also becoming popular. But really it will depend on what you are looking for in each neighborhood!

I'm changing my mind about moving to Buenos Aires too much of a negative vibe . One Day you say fantastic next not nice 😢

I mean every country has good and bad things, as much as I love the country I know it's not perfect, but it is the place I always want to go back to regardless. I also believe that you shouldn't make decisions about whether or not to live in a country based ONLY on other people's experiences, because everyone's situation is kind of unique. At the end of the day, moving to any country is very much like a leap of faith!

Are any of the subways/buses 24 hours.

@@SenorJuan2023 I don't remember exactly, but I think that until 11 p.m. (and during Sundays and national holidays - like independence day - I think that ends 30 minutes/1 hour earlier). By the way, I'm not from Buenos Aires but I know the city and I have relatives in the metropolitan area.

@@SenorJuan2023 almost every Argentine urban area with more than 250/300 thousands inhabitants has public bus service running 24 hours, although obviously there is less frequency (sometimes way less) since 10/11 p.m. until 5/6/7 a.m. Also, sometimes there are alternative lines that works exclusively during the low frequency hours, while the regular ones are not running.
