I have a very sad message for Raph. The elevator moving in more then one direction (not only up and down but left and right which would be a two dimensionsional system) has allready been invented by the Thyssen-Krupp company using magnetic fields (Magnetkissen und Transrapid-Technik). June 23th 2017 an article about this invention has been published by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. A testing tower of 246 metres (807 feet) for this elevator technology is located in Rottenburg, Baden Württemberg, Germany . But nice guess and a really good idea raph, keep it up ;)

Permanant Sunscreen would be terrible in resale, only affordable and wanted by the privelaged and those who live in sunny places (roughly 7/9 of the world is shaded or in cloud cover at any time as I'm aware) and isn't needed by people of color bc their skin pigmentation prevents all but the most severe of sunburns. Plus Cancer from sunburns only occurs if you pick at your sunburns frequently, don't treat then in any way, you don't drink sufficient water to help the body heal, get sunburned multiple times in one specific area over a short period of time, and you generally ignore it besides that. It takes common sense to avoid getting cancer from sunburns. It takes a lot of effort and self-neglect TO get cancer from sunburns.

I loved the idea of heated/cooled cup holders until I thought more about it. You’d have to have specialty cups or use a particular material that would allow the contents of the cup to get cold/hot without changing the temperature of the outside of cup (or at the very least have them come with the little insulation sleeves to protect your hands). I wouldn’t want to burn/freeze my hands every time I picked up my drink and I feel like the only way they would be effective is to have them heat/cool from the outside. Maybe just a better insulated cup holder to keep the initial temperature of the drink better

Hitler also build highways and train tracks to further the war and bring people into concentration camps, does that mean building those things for other purposes is comparable? Or is identifying people's sexuality, in order to date them maybe a different thing entirely, than doing that in order to murder them? I mean, I'm not on board with the compulsory element of Ally's idea either, but pulling out a Hitler comparison is more than a little far fetched.

As an addition to his idea, I would also add a heated cup holder or 2; it’d be best if said cup holders had their own, personal, small, heating element(s) that wrapped around said cup holder(s). The cold cup holders could be on the cold version, the chilled glovebox.

Putting each end of a tungsten coil in contact with the end of a 9v battery makes it red hot and, in fact, that’s what they do for electric stoves! You could very easily do that for your heated glovebox/cup holder, but you’d lessen the power level consistently used to keep the food warm instead of cooking it at red hot; I’m thinking maybe 1.5v of a single AA battery or a very large/long tungsten coil wrapping all the way around said glovebox using no more than 9v (probably less) would be enough to keep it from cooking it too much.

In Germany you can sometimes actually find a special sink, raised and wider than others (actually it's more like a high toilet) to puke in. You might find these at some places where people party or celebrate festivals, where its almost certain that someone drinks more then they should. In that case that person does not need to use a dirty toilet and can not make a huge mess that needs to be cleaned up during the party. It might sound weird that there is a need for special puking sinks but it actually helps with a big problem.
