Hi,thanks for this. Could you briefly explain how I would connect some modulation pedals to boss katana with effects loop.I want to use different distortions and a tremolo built in the amp which will be switched using boss gafc foot switch. Thanks

Question: Sometimes I will be playing out of an amp with effects loop, and sometimes not (vintage Marshall, Fender, etc.) Is there a way to set up a pedal board where I can use the 4 cable method, sending some effects to the loop and some straight into the amp front end, and then also have all pedals going into the front end for an amp without an effects loop, without having to rewire the pedal chain to accommodate these two options? 👍🏼If you have a video on how to adjust or whatever’s needed on the HD500X inputs/outputs to accomplishing this. I’m a firm believer in the 4cm and have used the 3cm for 20 or so years. Using just the power amp form my amp with different processors/mod starting way back with ro Rocktron, Ada, back to rocktron voodoo valve, Line 6 X3 live, can’t remember the one I alternated with the X3 live. But now have the HD500X. Need help as I feel I have no clue anymore. Lol Please help if possible. Btw, I sure did appreciate this video!!👍🏼

Thanks dude. Yeah I used to have a 500x, probably nearly 10 years ago now. I can't really offer any advice on how to do 4CM with it though as its been so long since I had one, and I only used it as a processor on its own.
