Ive had it- scratched myself on a steel spike that a cow had peed on. 3 days later, I had fever spasms lockjaw- very frightening. By the way- 25 years ago. I still remember it vividly. came on so fast. 3 days in hospital. penicillin injections - miracle cure. @Aannoonnnn I am getting hints of naturalistic fallacy from your comment and not liking it. Anyways, before vaccination, we often did NOT survive. There's plenty of accounts from before we discovered proper medicine of people (children, especially) dying suddenly, mysteriously. And that's just how it was. If you were lucky, and the disease wasn't something like tetanus or rabies, your immune system would get back on its feet and adapt with better antibodies. But there's a reason the life expectancy of the average American man in 1750's was his late 20's.

I just now got hit by a rusty barbwire while mowing, it came back and hit my ankle and it got cut not a deep wound just a cut and now I’m so paranoid and I’m going to get a tetanus shot tomorrow. I’m getting super paranoid!!
