When you say the infrastructure is managed by SAP, what does they actually manage? Example : uder system.management , OS Patching is excluded. So the customer is expected to perform the same?

There are certain things that has changed from SAP ECC to S/4HANA when it comes to Finance. You need to ensure that you are aware and become familiar of those changes.
